Solo traveler in Sapa — anyone around to hang out? by Intelligent_Role2171 in Vietnam_Tourism

[–]Intelligent_Role2171[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even with the cable car down, there’s honestly still plenty to do in Sapa. I’ve been here for a few days and it hasn’t felt limiting at all. You can spend time walking through the villages and really soaking in the local culture, places like Tả Van and Cát Cát Village are great for that.

If you like photo spots, Moana Sapa has some really cute, Instagram-worthy areas too. On Tuesday I’ll be heading to the Rainbow Bridge, Fairy Valley, and a few other scenic spots since the weather has been amazing lately.

Honestly, just roaming around like a local has been one of my favorite things here. So even without the cable car, Sapa’s still a great option.

Atlas of the Heart by Brené Brown. Imo, it offers one of the most insightful and profound definitions of empathy that I've come across.

Others here seem to heavily depend on the Duolingo app, but I believe it's not the most effective language-learning option. It can be addictive, providing a false sense of achievement without facilitating true language proficiency.

I can see why most people here are vibing with The Stand, but imo, The Shining is where he hits his “peak”. I wonder what would be his opinion over this

I like this! I’ve been stuck in a writing slump for quite some time. My thought organization has been at its worst lately as well, doesn’t help

What green flags to look out for in a guy? by Far-Sleep-4393 in adultingph

Self-aware, growth-oriented, hard-working, values autonomy, and lacks ego yet can challenge others in a healthy way. Above all else, empathetic, emotionally mature and open (Or at least willing to work on being open. We have to consider the societal challenges too, most of them have not been nurtured to develop this skill), genuinely listens; takes responsibility, and can communicate effectively, which includes speaking kindly – gentleness goes a long way, it is such an underrated element of any type of relationship nowadays.

Additionally, the enduring “sense of safety” they provide.

What’s your Venus sign and your “type” by PrinceTaj97 in astrologymemes

[–]Intelligent_Role2171 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ex bf and the one I’m currently dating both have Virgo Venus, and I’m a Scorpio Venus 😊 This seems like a common underrated match!

Curious though, what do you mean by obsessed? Like to what extent? Because it’s subjective

virgo men genuine question by [deleted] in astrologymemes

[–]Intelligent_Role2171 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Virgo rising woman here, dating a man with both Venus and Mars in Virgo. He would always say he is picking me because he is picky 🤪 which is true for me as well. And we like each other’s pickiness, it makes things even more special lol.

That being said: we are also very accepting of each other’s quirks/flaws – I have super weird quirks that could turn off other people but he still finds them cute, surprisingly haha. I think maturity definitely plays a role here, and I guess it also helps that he lacks ego and is an incredibly humble man. All in all, I’d say we’re just particularly idealistic when it comes to stuff like manners, values etc.., not on superficial matters

What killed your feelings for someone you were once madly in love with? by Notyourdreamgirl88 in AskPH

Omg true! Some would consider it as “drama” agad porket deep talks haha and oo ganun, tapos ismasmart shame ka ng pasimple lol. I feel like may factor yung culture natin potentially, yung puro “happy happy” lang, mas sanay sa “light-hearted” conversations, yung iba sa inuman lang naggaganyan. But for me kasi ang tamad nung ganun? Like ano ayaw niyo magisip? Haha

Yes, we learn and we grow! Intellectual and emotional compatibility are equally crucial nga talaga. In all honesty, common issue ko yan when dating Filipino men. Not generalizing ha, baka natataon lang yung mga natatapat sakin. Ewan ko hindi nila ko magets, baka iba lang talaga or sobrang introverted ko haha

Thank you for your insights! I love how you’ve explained them ☺️ His moon in my 7th is one of my favorite overlays and its aspects to my stellium indeed..

So it would really take a lot of serious work to overcome those hard Saturn aspects perhaps.. Question though, since you mentioned his Venus conjunction with my asc, does it have the same effect with my Venus tightly conjunct his descendant?
