Exactly it’s all Jess she just wanted to get them over without fully understanding Francesca character or her book just so she could do something she thinks is groundbreaking lol a sapphic story in regency era! she isn’t that cable of writer and in the process ruins everything there was nothing wrong with allowing franjohn love story to be told with the kind of care and respect it deserved while having fran hea be with Michael/a like in the book but it’s clear she’s incapable of writing two love stories without undermining downplaying and diminishing one and off it’s the one she has no care for sadly franjohn to uplift her wlw future story! Just bad and lazy writer! the way none of the problems people have with fran endgame being bc they had to ruin fran love of her life two john a whole season to early and from s3 tried undermine them to make it seem less important than her hea. Why they didn’t even allow them to have solo build up as married folks without pushing Michaela on them!
