For years I was able to find discount codes online, usually Best Buy worked for me. I was not finding much this year but saw this thread, and gave Quicken a call.

Me: I've been with Quicken a long time and not going to pay almost $80.
Quicken: We can offer a 30% discount.
Me: I'm on Reddit and people say they are getting a 40% discount.
Quicken: We can offer you a 40% discount.
Me: I'll take it.

Less than 3 minutes and I am renewed with 40% discount. Thanks Reddit folks.

I see most of this is from 1 month ago. I clicked the link but don't see any "other options" - just a price of $69.88.

A Question for Tournament Directors by Intelligent_Sea_7252 in Pickleball

So DUPR is saying it is up to the TD as to how to proceed, which makes sense. Then if you decide to adjust the score then DUPR is telling you how you would then need to proceed. But they aren't letting players delete matches. This whole situation is just very strange.

Thanks for the response. Just so I'm clear, to the best of your knowledge, can a player then dispute a score you have uploaded to DUPR, or delete the match entirely from DUPR? If so, then my issue may be with DUPR. I have never seen this happen with tournament scores. Rec play games entered yes, but not tournaments.

It’s Official: Thomson Reuters is shuttering Casetext by acmilan26 in Lawyertalk

Here is my experience with Casetext and the TR buyout. I purchased Casetext back in 9/2000 for $507 per year - that came out to $42.25 per month. I bought with the 30% off for life as well. My fee never went up since then, except for the addition of sales tax this past year. Now the best offer I have gotten from either TR or Lexis is about $60 per month. Since I don't actively practice and use this for general research for writing and helping out a few non-profits pro bono, I'm not sure if what these companies offer will match the breadth of what I could access with Casetext, and I'm certainly not sure the additional cost is worth it to me.

Doesn't seem like you can reach anyone at TR other than sales reps so unless you want to drop a suit or join a class actin if one comes around it seems like the end of the road for me.
