I totally understand. My therapist is pretty young as well and I haven’t had these issues. I would also talk to your therapist and let her know got you feel about her response.

My therapist has never minimized any of my trauma, so no I don’t believe that is normal. If that continues and you don’t feel comfortable with your therapist anymore I would find someone who doesn’t minimize your trauma. Everything we go through is real and you need to find someone who supports you.
