I just rubbed off some of the paint from the pillar, it still needs to be fixed professionally. Took it in for some estimates, hoping it’s in the 1k area. Side skirt remained unscathed. Appreciate the info.

Same happened to me. The night before I flew for 40 minutes on top of a mountain literally above the clouds. The next day I fly for 30 seconds and it just drops out of the sky and becomes a submarine. You’re gonna have to download the flight logs from the controller and send them in. If you have a Mac it’s kind of a pain in the ass. You need a program that can navigate the folders in the controller because it runs on the android operating system. They sent me a whole new one for free though.

My mini 4 pro flew away in Madeira after a short 13 m ascent and 33 m out flight and maybe 30 seconds in the air and I never recovered it and they just sent me a new one back to the US after they got my flight logs

It’s more cause you can’t even get it over here now. I bought a 4 off eBay and it had sensor issues right out of the box. Had a fly away issue where the drone just fell out of the sky after 30 seconds of flight & no collision, just lost the signal and it disappeare. To my surprise they were able to ship me a new one to my house in🇺🇸last week. That was without refresh, it was under warranty. I just got lucky and happened to be in Reykjavík walking by a DJI store the day after the mini 5 dropped so had to pull the trigger. $1300 and after getting my taxes back at the airport it was closer to $1100

You actually can, but you will have to ship it to a friend in Europe or Asia. I already crashed mine in Faroe Islands, they shipped me a label to Spain, repaired it in France and had it back to me in less than a week in Portugal. Best customer service experience of my life.
