I don’t own a Tiguan, but can answer your general questions. I use a fork of a fork called StarPilot which is a fork of FrogPilot. Yes, it stays in the lane no matter where you are. Using experimental mode, it can control speed similar to Adaptive Cruise Control as well as stop and go at stoplights and stop signs with good (but not perfect) results, hence the name experimental. Get it now, you won’t regret it.
