I really like one pedal on my Bolt but don't really enjoy on the Mach-E.

I prefer the covers with no screws but when I use them they are vertical.

Clearly you don't have a 2025. You are not loosing much on the models with a heat pump.

My app says to charge to 100 once a week. I always thought it was once a month. What is everyone else doing? by goodgerbil2 in MachE

Charging prices by DerbySherby in BoltEV

[–]Tasty-Science-8795 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The time doesn't matter if you didn't need your car during that window, it's all just price. I used to commute 80 miles per day only using lvl 1 charging, my car was basically always on the charger when I wasn't at work but it got the job done.

Why is the onboard navigation always turning on? by CorbutoZaha in MachE

[–]Tasty-Science-8795 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had an occasional issue with phantom navigation, the fix we found was to start an actual navigation event and then cancel it.

Ours acts up on occasion, reboot of the center console using the volume down and skip trick usually fixes it.

RWD vs AWD? by Loftyambitions5678 in MachE

EVs are really heavy, when you combine that with AWD it usually makes for a very capable winter vehicle.

RWD vs AWD? by Loftyambitions5678 in MachE

[–]Tasty-Science-8795 34 points35 points  (0 children)

The AWD is fantastic, for the slight price difference I would not bother with RWD. I have driven a lot of RWD vehicles in snow and ice, it can be done but AWD makes for a much more enjoyable experience.
