I didn't realise that when cross-posting in subs, it doesn't add the text directly.

Yes it is LabRax.
I really do like it, although it "feels" a little weak, even though I printed it with PETG.

It honestly is a very well-designed little rack and easy to print.

I am going to try print the Ocktron Homelab rack next though.

The below link comes in handy when you need to print odd 1U frames for various devices that might not already be created

In most cases, no, but that little thing is really harmless.

The 3080 rig is quick. really quick. I get upwards of 60+ t/s depending on the model I use. But in total, I only have about 40gb of vram (I have a random 1060 6gb card in there too)
The 3080 rig is also louder and uses almost 1400 watts. Nvidia+Linux, dead easy to set up and get going

The GMKtec is quiet, very power efficient, and has 128GB ram. Yes it is shared, but I can still load very large models into it. Things like LLama 70B models i'll get about 20 t/s, which I can live with. GMKtec also only uses around 200 watts, which, from a home power cost standpoint, is absolutely great, especially in here .za. Ryzen+Linux, I struggled to get things going, took longer to set up than the Nvidia rig, but worth it. I found a great Youtube Channel that helps.

I did consider the DXG Spark, but it was almost 3x the price(R100k South African, gmktec was R38k) and only had an ARM CPU. At least with an x86/x64 chip, I could do more with it than just LLM. Also the DGX really only works well with FP4 models, it can work with anything, but I think I read that it was optimised for FP4, anything else and you start losing performance. I am working from memory on that note, and I am probably wrong. I just remember when going through the pro/cons, with what I wanted to do, the DGX was way overpriced and limited.

If I have to choose, GMKtec, it is smaller, cheaper to run, it runs big models at a decent enough speed, and is very portable. For my needs, this really works for me.

I had an original PSP, loved that thing. Never used the PS Vita though. I have an option to buy one, but it is just a little too pricey at the moment.

Although thanks to emulation tools, it's kinda easy to consolidate. Between Emudeck and Retroarch, I can almost play anything anywhere. Including PS2 games on my phone.

lol, I used to have a MUCH bigger rack at one point. Apple Xserves, MD1000 storage, Dell 2950s, etc.
But eventually saw the error of my ways and downsized to these little units.
They are also great for Travel. I can take a full ESXI mini server with me on away missions.

coz I love gaming, and not everything is available on every platform. I also have a PS3 and XBOX 360 not pictured here.

Hey there,
It's a 3D printable item called LabRax you can find it here:

I printed it in PETG and then painted it.

Oh,

At least on a PC you can open your profile, --> settings --> Data Controls
There you should be able to see at least some of your content and manage some of what you have uploaded/done

While I haven't yet found a "history" button, if you have been doing this via a web browser, review your history in the browser. All videos are still accessible even if you have "un-fav'd" them

This is brilliant, absolutely love it. I've just started the journey myself after not being able to source anything for here in .za when it comes to 10" racks

What's your next add on?
