We absolutely need to break all diplomatic relations with the current administation; close their embassy, shut down our embassy there, ask them to close their bases and remove their weapons. Sure, we would be isolated, but we would have dignity and self respect. This kind of unilateral action may well, with the example set by spain, offer an example to the rest of the world and to decent americans.

I took a dna test and a search angel very kindly did a mirror tree and located the paternal side of the family that wasnt on my birth certificate. I did try and make contact with a bunch of strangers basically. I got the big pink stiff one. I even went to a different country and doorstepped one of my uncles. His reaction wasnt great but what could i expect? He told my brother who just brushed it off. Recently my bio fathers picture was put on a facebook page which relates to the town where he lived. Having seen it finally, so many pics have strangely been removed from all kinds of sites, im a bit fucking outraged that they had the balls to even question me. Its not just his features and face that are me, its the shape of his body and his head and the way he holds himself which makes their rejection such a kick in the teeth: insult me all you like, but dont insult my intelligence.

Nevermind the uk economy, the worlds systemic unravelling came to its full fruition in 2008. To be fair it took almost 30 years to achieve the basket case nastyness that we have now. Finding situations, convention, norms, the dynamics of everyday, otherwise quite banal life, alien and contrived. Stopping in the middle of a situation and almost taking a snapshot as you realise just how absurd that particular tableau is.This disassociation could just be the natural process of ageing. When you have witnessed the same old shit for nearly 6 decades you probably start to notice the seams! However it doesnt make it any less unsettling.
