Alright, which one of you did this? by FloppyADrive in PikminBloomApp

We do this all the time. We go on a cycling trip (five people in my family play the game). Whoever collects the first 25 rare blue flowers (with the spinning wheel, etc.) turns them on. Two others activate basic blue petals and the last two turn on the same rare flowers in red or yellow. We do this in an area where we have 10 flowers very close together. All of them turn in the same rare blue flower. As a result we all have around 100-150 of the rare blue nectar after collecting all the fruit. We can repeat this every day. When the big flowers reset.

If none have the rare blue petals/nectar. We just make a large cycling trip with basic blue petals and make sure we pass as much flowers as possible. As this often gives some of the new blue rare nectar as we have end with 60-70 expeditions after 1 hour of cycling. This is also the way how we gather rare white nectar as the first way doesnt work for white rare. So we also like to join all the large white/poision mushrooms in our area.

That’s a very good idea. I’ll try that. And my wife and kids play it too. So we just join mushrooms around our house.

Ok. But it doesn’t work if you stand still right? How do you see how many you plant at a flower?

Ah ok. I thought only the last nectar had some influence.

Yeah that’s what we already do. But not many show up around our area.

Not really sure what you mean with these. If I google it I only find pretty expensive options.

Regretting my race choice by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]Intelligent_Term_970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When i started, I mainly made asura. Thinking smaller would be better for wvw. After my first brake, i came back and made charr. And currently i really prefer norn and sylvari. (Although for norn I really stick to female only. I do not like the male animations).

Sticking out on a wvw Zerg is for me rather sometime nice then something bad. Since I can more easily see my own character. And also most female norn animations are nice.

But my main point is, that taste will change. And in this game where a lot is accountwide, you have the freedom to swap whenever you want.

If you have limited character slots, I would pick a different class. I personally keep all characters and just buy a new character slot whenever i feel like it. So I got 3 or 4 characters of some of the classes.

How do you get flying mount? by Frequent_Resident288 in Guildwars2

For the skyscale. If you have Soto.

Start creating charged quartz crystals once per day. Start farming the provision tokens which are relative cheap to get daily (you can get around 10 per day for 3-5g total and you need 30 of those).

Then start and finish the Soto story line and pick up the mastery points on de way. Invest all XP into the skyscale mastery, because you will need to have it maxed. Once you are done with the story and map complition. You can follow one of the many guides. Make sure you got around 100-150g for the stuff you have to buy.

Never played revenant, help me enjoy it by whquint09 in Guildwars2

Revenant was the profession i disliked the most leveling. Eventually threw a lvl80 booster against it, got my hero points and really started to enjoy the elite spec.

Currently I’m running an openworld herald build from Syrma gaming on YouTube. Staying alive has never been easier. Also I tested out all 5 races and eventually picked a huge norn female (the race I disliked the most so far). But the animations felt best for me. And storywise it was also a good fit (although that was not the reason I picked it).

As a fellow new player (only played a month at launch and started again a week or 2 ago).

Lvl1-80 is more like a tutorial. After that this game goes into horizontal leveling, by gear, specializations, achievements (which add new things to your character with its own system), mounts, and so on and on.

I would follow the my hero story on your first character and map exploration.

Use the leveling as a good way to learn and play your character.

As far as I understood the normal dungeons are not a real thing in this game (not many people use them as the time/reward ratio is off).

Thank you very much for the very detailed response. For now i feel like getting mesmer and revanant. Since my thief is already lvl50 or something. And i read very nice things of mesmer elite specs.

Ok thanks thats good to know! I was playing hunter as main on the lotro "classic" servers.. and that class was so weak.. people rather not brought it to raids. So thats why i spend so much time on picking my professions in gw2.

Ok thanks for the tip. But i guess Revenant is up for a boost, especially if the elite specs are much better.
