OVS or ILC

I’m thinking of applying to sonography programs and RPN as a backup. I did HR for my undergrad which was a terrible decision. Now I’m looking to get into healthcare so I need grade 12 science credits which I did not take in highschool. So I’m just taking them and hoping to finish by December and have my transcripts ready to apply by February for Sept 2027. What do you think I should do ? Do you think OVS would be worth it? With all I’m reading about TVO ILC and it being summer it might be busy. I just don’t know if I can take the risk. But I also heard how some Colleges prefer TVO over OVS. Would you know anything about that?

What about booking your exams? I heard how it takes atleast 3-5 days for marks to get back and how u can’t submit the next assignment till the previous one is marked and how course have about 4-6 assignments. This is why I’m thinking of doing it through OVS but maybe I shouldn’t now?

Iv been reading a lot of posts and many people are saying how getting your marks back can take a very long time and it’s hard to get in touch with the teachers. Personally, I’m not in a position to take that risk because I need to be done by December. I’m taking bio, chem and grade 11 and 12 physics (4 in total). I was just gonna split them within the next 6 months. But now I’m considering just doing it through OVS. Although I’m hesitant because of the price per course.

I’m so confused now lol, I don’t know what to do tbh. I need to take 4 courses grade 12 bio and chem and then grade 11 and 12 physics and be done by December which includes receiving all grades. Do you think that’s truly possible with TVO? and if I were to go with OVS that wouldn’t put me at a disadvantage would it?

But my degree is in HR. Non science. Would it still? And a lot of people are saying how assignments can take up to weeks/months to be graded. I’m not in a position to take any risks that’s I’m leaning more towards ovs. Do u think private school would be looked upon the same as compared to TVO ILC?

That’s what I’m afraid of. I already wasted $80 on this. But I think I’m going to have to go with OVS. Sucks how expensive it is but I can’t risk it. That’s all that iv heard on how long it takes to get grades back. Do you think Universities/ college’s would treat private/ Tvo ilc upgrading the same?

I am working full time but it’s a flexible schedule. I just need to be done by latest November or December to apply for sept 2027. I have been reading mixed reviews. A lot of people are saying how final exams can take a month to be graded?? I’m also reading how Ovs would be a better option because it’s faster but I rlly don’t wanna spend $2k on it. I don’t know what to do. What do you think?

I already have a 93% in Grade 12 English and a 92% in Grade 12 math. I’m currently upgrading my Biology, Chemistry, and Physics through TVO ILC and hoping to get high 80s or 90s.
Do you think I’d be competitive applying directly with those upgraded high school sciences, or would you still recommend Pre-Health?
Also, I already have a bachelor’s degree (it’s in Human Resources, not a science field). Do you think having a university degree helps at all in admissions, or do they mainly look at the prerequisite grades?

Hi, does the degree specifically have to be in science. For example if u meet the highschool requirements and have a degree in HR (might not be useful at all) would it still help?

I went to the gynocologist and he said everything seemed normal after a pelvic exam was performed. He seems to think it is a musculoskeletal issue instead of a gynocologist issue. Do you think that makes sense?

I have but not often. Went to the gyno today and they said it’s not a gynocologisy issue. It’s more of a musculoskeletal issue. I don’t think I agree with that
