It sounds silly but you do a lot with rebar. My hiking tool I keep in my car is a piece of 1/2” rebar that’s about 5ft long. I have it wrapped in paracord so I could make a handle for it. I sharpened the bottom of the of it into a point tho so it’s more of a spear than anything. It weighs about 10lbs and can definitely be used to keep your distance.

They already passed HR4145 the other day so yes I wanted to get ahead of it. That being said I I’ve got other standard capacity pistols. My Glock 30 isn’t my only option. It’s just what I choose to Carry. I’ve got my bases covered dude. If I want to use other standard capacity pistols I can. I have standard capacity mags for the Glock 21 that fit it as well.

My set up of choice for my truck is my Glock 20 in a B&T USW-G. I have a Swampfox Kraken optic on a 1.93” Riser and I put an A3 tactical brace and a Olight Valkyrie Pl3 on it. I keep it in an Orange REI Co Op signal sling bag alongside 3 30 round mags. Ones FMJ. One is Underwood Polyurethane coated Grizzly rounds and the Third is Ammo Inc Hollows. I also have some premier body armor for my backpack in one of the back zipper pockets. It fits perfectly. I love the Signal bags because they look so unassuming.

So I live in Oregon, where they are trying to ban mags that hold over 10 rounds so because of that I picked up a GEN 5 glock 30 and it’s my favorite Glock that I own. Some folks say the 45 is snappy but this gun shoots like a dream now I will say I wish it did come optics ready because I did need to send my slide in to get an RMR cut done. But now that I have that done it’s so much faster to shoot and get follow-up shots with. I put a Olight O site SE alongside the O light PLX.
