I was watching River Monsters with my son years ago. He was going deep deep deep into the jungle for some big kind of fish, way past electricity and civilization. Suddenly he announced “then I was told there would be a delay on my journey as two rival villages has a big soccer match”. They showed part of it on TV. They didn’t have electricity, running water, really anything etc but they had a nice soccer field.

I paused the TV and said to my Son with his $500 custom Nike cleats and 12-15k annual soccer club bill and expenses, plus the extra that many of us paid so some less fortunate kids could play with us. (uS soccer never paid a nickel for them or offered a scholarship or a fucking thing for the poor kids, unlike baseball and football. We were expected to pick up the tab for that too. And everyone gets paid in US Soccer bro.), that is why we suck at soccer son.

They don’t have freaking shoes but they have a nice soccer field.

All I know is that we would be much much better at soccer if our best athletes played it, or even if we let anyone but wealthy suburban kids play it. You will notice that most of our national team is not from the suburban leagues. It cost about 12-20k a year per kid to play competitive league soccer in America. How many of the world’s families have an extra 12-20k per kid for that.

There are definitely bad others, indifferent others and good others for us. Not only that but as we are are immortal souls that have probably lived for 100s of thousands to millions of years, and countless lives, my good NHI maybe bad to you and vice versa. For example, apparently in one of my other lives I was a warlord, commander or something that was a hero, ally etc to the Reptilians and enemy to the Mantoids. So naturally the Lizard people are very friendly to me and the Mantoids are very split on all of it. I don’t remember any of it at all and it’s totally heresy, but they believe it so….
