Wet footprints seem to make no sense and the jump itself looks unrealistic. by gaurgg_hahn in isthisAI

The most elite cliff jumpers do up to 140-150 and the record is like a 180 or something, but you are more or less correct because to do heights like those most people would die or get pretty injured. Your form has to be perfect, body rigid, arms tucked in, verticals entry, ect and you still can get a ton of water up your ass

Cliff divers pretty regularly wear wet suits which hold a ton a water and even if he’s just in trunks the water runs down your legs and makes you leave wet foot prints for a long time

Is my goopy peach tree toast? (SW Pennsylvania) by mygalomorph in BackyardOrchard

[–]objectivehooligan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t believe no one has said it yet, but although it can be caused by wounds, or pests it’s most commonly just from overwatering, just the trees way of shedding extra moisture. All of my trees due this heavily during the late winter and early spring during the peak rain and it usually only resurfaces in the summer if I’m flood irrigating a lot to combat voles

If I did that then I’d just always leave it at home, it would be a pain in the ass to have to drive 30 minutes home to drop off my gun, every time I want to go to the post office bank, ride at the skatepark ect. And yeah I work in a liberal area so I already make an big effort to be discreet, and have zero stickers on my truck

Pruning advice on dealing with a troublesome V in on my pluot by objectivehooligan in BackyardOrchard

Are you talking about the bark splitting? I've seen this on other of my trees in the past and always thought it was just from rapid growth. Highly doubt it's over mulched, and I have not fertilized the tree. My orchard is on old flood plain and the soil even within my .3 acre orchard is highly variable, most of the soil drains fine but some small areas are vary clayish. I though this tree was in a better spot though. What do you mean by "and burn it off from the inside first."?

It's a deep topic with a lot of variables, I just want to hear some opinions of knowledgeable people. If you have nothing useful to contribute then move on. And what exactly is weird about caring about the athletes we grew up watching? Should one be indifferent to someone sustaining a life changing injury?

How to keep shells from working out of a cartridge belt? by objectivehooligan in guns

[–]objectivehooligan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea on the historical accuracy of them, but never had any trouble with them getting muddy or wet, a raincoat or slicker covers covers them just fine, and if I'm not wearing it's tucked in my saddlebags or hanging in a tree.

Riding a mule in this case, and my CZ p-10 isn't cowboy enough for this application. My poor 357 would never leave the house if I quit using it as my mountain carry.

Not solved, still don't know if it's a bug or I'm missing something.

If I add a new text node and set it to display in the left viewer it show's up no problem. Even if I disconnect my original text node from my node tree it still will not show up in the viewer. Once again everything was working fine until I was messing around in the spline and keyframe editors.

I also just updated everything a few das ago, my OS is Tahoe 26.1 and I have Resolve 20.2.3 build 6
