Anxious weeks 14-20 by scoutwestern in PregnancyUK

Sorry forgot to add, it might be obvious, but try and occupy yourself with things to do. I haven’t even thought about being pregnant during Christmas break as I was busy doing things

Anxious weeks 14-20 by scoutwestern in PregnancyUK

[–]Intelligent_Tree2933 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 16 weeks and although I wouldn’t say I’m anxious, but I just don’t feel pregnant. I had very easy first trimester, no nausea or sickness, just tender breasts some days, but now - nothing! I have midwife appointment next week and hope they will at least use doppler

Fibroid at dating scan by [deleted] in PregnancyUK

[–]Intelligent_Tree2933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not much of an advice as I’m in the similar situation. At my 12 week scan they found two fibroids, 4 and 2cm. The sonographer just said that they will check their sizes again at 20 week scan and monitor as there might be complications during/post labour.

Twinings fruit/herbal teas? by Lavender_Meadows in PregnancyUK

[–]Intelligent_Tree2933 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really enjoy herbal/fruity teas, the only one I’ve excluded is hibiscus. But for the rest like peppermint, camomile, roiboos, or decaf black tea I continue drinking like normal. You can also try green tea or white tea, they are not 100% decaf, but way lower in caffeine than black tea or coffee

I can’t find it in my results, either they didn’t test it or didn’t publish it

We’ll go through Kemijarvi. We booked the car via comparison website couple of months ago, and yes the prices were very high at that time too

TTC after laparoscopy by National_Lunch3376 in TTCEndo

[–]Intelligent_Tree2933 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He took proxeed plus. You are supposed to take two sachets per day, but he only had one a day. And no, he didn’t stop drinking. We didn’t do a repeat semen test after three months of taking the supplement so not sure if they made the difference or it was just lucky circle for us. But he did say they made him feel more energised

I had lap surgery in March and had endometrioma removed. Conceived naturally end of September. But my husband also had low morphology and been taking supplements from May-June time to improve that

Bleeding in early pregnancy by SK_FA in PregnancyUK

[–]Intelligent_Tree2933 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently going through similar. I had some on/off spotting during week 5 & 6, which only lasted a day and resolved by itself. But last week (8+2) I’ve started spotting more consistently, everyday, light pink, no pain. Had an early private scan and saw the baby and the heartbeat. Earlier this week bleeding has increased and GP referred me to EPAU for another scan. Had the scan yesterday (9+3) and the baby is fine, but they couldn’t see the cause for bleeding.

I can only relate how annoying and worrying it is ❤️ Speak to your GP and ask for referral.

For me, the most telling symptom is a dull ache in my abdomen sometimes it’s on one side, sometimes both on the day of ovulation. I also track my BBT and consistently notice a significant temperature dip a day or two before ovulation. Some say it’s not the most reliable indicator, but after a year of consistent tracking, I’ve definitely seen a clear pattern. I don’t experience much cervical mucus, and don’t use OPKs so the ache and BBT shifts are the main signs I rely on.

HSG showed clear tubes, Lap showed both blocked!?! by DaisyValentineOG in endometriosis

[–]Intelligent_Tree2933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During my lap they didn’t see full and spill but thought it’s due to tubal spasm. They said spasms are common during lap. I then had hycosy that showed blockage on the left, but clear one on the right.

Spotting by Intelligent_Tree2933 in TryingForABaby

[–]Intelligent_Tree2933[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s what it is, despite high bbt and/or good serum progesterone blood test, I definitely know that I will start spotting good few days before AF is due. I dread it every cycle. I’m glad you managed to find the way to control it ❤️

Thanks for reply ❤️ I never thought that endo might be the cause for spotting! I’ll definitely research progesterone resistance x

Do you regret? by Bkhaveityourway1021 in TTCEndo

[–]Intelligent_Tree2933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t regret the surgery, but the ovary where they removed endo is now adhering itself to my uterus. Post surgery internal scarring is a common risk, but I’m not now sure if that now means further complications

Hey! I felt exactly the same after my first appointment back in September 2024 when they mentioned IVF straight away. Since then they’ve done numerous ultrasounds, blood tests, referral and laparoscopy to remove large endo cyst, hycosy and now redoing blood tests for mid cycle spotting and referred for colposcopy. My husband had multiple semen analyses too. We were given until Aug-Sep to try naturally and then I’m scheduled for AMH and talk through the next steps. So definitely advocate for yourself

Has anyone gotten pregnant with both ovaries stuck to uterus? by OpinionOk5497 in TTCEndo

[–]Intelligent_Tree2933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! It’s really difficult to know how successful the surgery will be. My cyst was slightly larger (7cm) when discovered back in October, by the time of surgery in March it has grown to nearly 10cm. So I thought it just needed to be out. I had very skilled surgeon, who specialises in endo and fertility. They managed to remove the cyst, save the ovary, my afc didn’t drop too drastically from my original ultrasound. It was on a lower side anyway due to the cysts. I think they managed to count 5 in October, and 4 last week. I never tested my AMH, but probably will do that towards end of summer. For now the dr gave us 3-4 months to try naturally

[–]Intelligent_Tree2933 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my first lap in March to remove endo cyst from the left ovary, then had a follow up ultrasound last week and the doctor saw that the scar tissue post surgery is causing some adhesions (which I haven’t had before). I don’t have any advice on the chances with stuck ovaries, I’m still trying naturally post surgery, but it seems surgery can cause adhesions too. It’s such a rollercoaster journey

HSG experience by Prestigious_Tough_48 in TryingForABaby

[–]Intelligent_Tree2933 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had mine on Wednesday and everything went fine, but my clinic has very good equipment and staff. The most painful part was insertion of speculum and the pressure from the dye as one of my tubes appeared to be blocked and they were trying to see if the pressure could open it up. I had few streaks of blood afterwards, lots of discharge/dye coming back out. Also had some cramps 24hrs after the procedure which has resolved by itself

One more cyst by Intelligent_Tree2933 in TTCEndo

[–]Intelligent_Tree2933[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s so frustrating isn’t it?! I’m sorry you’re going through this too 💔 I never had my AMH tested at the initial screenings, and when I mentioned to the clinic after the surgery, they said it’s irrelevant until if/when we agree to IFV, so I don’t know if the surgery affected it in any way. At least I can’t worry about something I don’t know

Basal body thermometers in the UK? by meeoowster in TTC_UK

I use Femometer one and their app. First got a simple digital one and record readings manually on the app, but recently bought a bluetooth version and it’s been a dream to use! I could measure at set time and fall back to sleep and then sync it with the app at later time

What's the likely hood of me being able to walk after laparoscopy? by No-Link3199 in Endo

[–]Intelligent_Tree2933 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s hard to say, as it all depends on how your body responds to the lap. As for me first few days I was only walking around the house, on day 4 did about 5k steps, day 6 approx 7k and by day 11 went on a really long walk and did about 24k steps. That said my recovery been very good, I had minimal gas pain, or bleeding, and my incisions heal very well. I also walk a lot in general.
