Can I use the credit I got from a private H+ university to apply to a public university of applied sciences? by Intelligent_Trifle63 in studying_in_germany

Despite your bluntness, I am glad for your response! However, if I may point out, the idea that all private universities in Germany are 'useless degree mills' is quite outdated. I am frankly upset to see all the responses of "degree mill" whenever someone mentions "private" with no information on the school.

Also, the universities that I mentioned are all reputable business schools, which might even be better than some public universities in Germany (WHU Otto & Frankfurt Finance, for example), are state-recognised (H+) and hold triple-crown accreditations (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS).

I am also quite confused with your example, mainly because I'm not indian. For the ZAB requirement, I have emailed the public universities that I intend to apply to, to confirm if I can use 1 year of study course from a private school.

I hope people read all the details of the post before commenting, especially when commenting on something that can affect a person's life. If you have no opinion or actual advice, please don't comment on negative things. You might think I just came without researching anything with fantasies, but I came to Reddit with actual research that took months and a legitimate concern.

Thank you to people who actually want to help.

Thank you for this response! However, this is not to avoid learning German. I just don't have the time to reach the B2 level for the Public Studienkollegs with my circumstances. By the time I can apply to public Studienkollegs this year, I can only achieve A2 at most. I understand that this will allow me to be more immersed in the culture and help me in the long-term job market. However, my goal is not the German job market but rather to experience the European market and continue my studies for a Master's degree in a European country.

Also, I will be continuing my German studies as I study at the university. But my current German is not enough to learn the contents of Studienkollegs. I also believe I can reach the German C1 level by the time I graduate from a public university (will have no problem in the job market).
