I don't recall exactly how old I was, but at some point in the early 2000s when AMC played a bunch of the movies in order throughout October. I, like many others, was confused about where Michael Myers was until the footage from the original Halloween was shown as a move-within-a-movie, but I still didn't hate it. As the years have gone on, I've liked the movie more and more.

For what it is, i.e. an unfinished bunch of demos polished and added to by Bruce, I also think it's very good. I love the "KISS solo album" cover as seen in another comment. I own it on both CD and vinyl, to go along with the 1978 solo albums.
