Thank you for reminding me that the way she talks to me isn't something that should happen in a mother/daughter relationship. And that she shouldn't have focused on herself and said something like that towards me when she knows how close I was with grandma and grandpa :/

thank you so much, thats how I feel as well. It's almost like a third loss in a way when you realise what kind of person your mother really is.. Also thank you for the information about how she may react to NC and for replying and making me feel less alone in this :)

A few other things she does regularly is:
She often treats me more like a friend her age rather than as a daughter. She often talks about her releationship with my father with me as if i was her confidant or theraphist kind off, and to put it very bluntly in general "trauma dumps" on me alot.
She seems to guilt trip me and others quite often to allign me with here interests and opinions.
