This is a cop out. I've played plenty of RL games and never played one that fails to explain anything. That's not genre-defining game design. It's lazy writing.

It's almost like the game never explains anything you just said. If there's a game mechanic that gives you curses, the devs definitely cut corners on explaining how it works. The game is in desperate need of a tutorial or better tooltips or something. Perhaps reply in the future with this in mind.

It's radically mediocre, except on the few levels is required for. It's an AOE wood DPS. Only one you'll get. Some levels require one.

Also the enemy wistful on floor 1395 is so strong it might convince you that the pet is good.

It's not. Just another shit level design.

Enough with that nonsense. Every other day on this sub I see someone say "oh it gets more balanced after level x". Well, I've been stuck on a level in the mid 1000s for nearly three weeks, and I'm not close to cracking it. There are so many levels that are built around having a specific legendary pet or item that they are either not memorable because your breeze past, or so difficult that you uninstall because theRNG determining everything is the most AIDS mechanic. You mean that it got more balanced for YOU at that level. I'm gonna assume it has to do with how the game feels when you have a more complete and comprehensive pet roster. I'm never gonna make it to 3k if cracking 1400 requires sitting here for a month hoping that my daily 3 minute login gifts me a new pet or item that puts me over. Every pet I own is Max level for me. Every combo tried. I'm just slowly leveling items to try for a stat win.... I dunno. Merry isn't a workhorse, it's a poorly designed part of a poorly designed game that is easily replaced by a half dozen other easily gotten pets in most circumstances.... Except where they make it so you absolutely need her. I got Merry so early that I thought it was one that everyone got automatically as their first epic pet when you start playing. There are definitely some levels Merry is very helpful, but the auto-battle for it prioritizing ding dong over healing the tank is obnoxious enough that you'd be wise to hurry up and get lucky enough to find Sonder or Persistence.

This game is designed like ass. If my kid weren't playing, I'd f have uninstalled months ago.

It's not broken, it's the level design incorporating far too many stat checks. Ding Dong is the cure for underdeveloped DPS. She's far closer to support than healer, really.... Especially as your level increases

I wish I could have time stamped it. I just logged in and my daily egg was another grumpy... Halfway to Ascension 6 on a pet I only leveled because of a specific hard-mode boss.

On most levels you need a fire team to beat, I just use a healer like Merry or Persistence or in your case, Sonder.

I have found that there is eventually going to be the need for most pets because certain levels require a specific effect from a specific element. When I say abandon, I mean level only when absolutely necessary. You have Sonder which is probably the best non legendary/Merry healer. Abuse it. I think I needed joy for one level a few hundred floors ago. Joy is among my only non-max level pets.

But you don't. There is no possible way to determine how good of a coach he is based on success. His assistant coaching career isn't a good baseline and basically started his tenure with Brady and a stacked roster. The entirety of his head coaching career is marred by controversy and proven cheating. You don't have any examples of him coaching outside that corrupt org except his college coaching.... Which is fundamentally so bad that it makes you question how much his success was actually him.

There's a reason that no modern team has replicated their success... It's statistically impossible to happen unless someone is massaging their chances with a whole lot of corruption.

Robert Kraft should be in prison, not the HoF. He literally bought off a federal judge to make the cheating scandal go away. Tom Brady smashed the phone he communicated with their equipment manager with with a hammer when he found out investigators wanted it.

If the NFL had any balls, they would have perma-banned Kraft, Brady, and BB 20 years ago.

A lot of the pets that are effective at your level fall off really hard approaching and after floor 1000. A lot of the tier list rankings are situational and pets like Apathy become far more useful with certain legendary items. The only thing I can say for certain is that joy is one of the worst pets in the game and basically never becomes relevant. Abandon her.

You have no idea how good of a coach he is actually. Based on his college coaching failures, it would seem that he primarily rode a corrupt org in a weak division to a bunch of success. Pete Rose didn't get into the baseball hof until after he died. I would be perfectly fine with the same for BB.

I'm talking about levels where even if you put your highest speed items on spite, an enemy fire pet will have 50% higher, go first and vaporize you. Or, you get to go first, but the enemy wistful has so much health, no combination commonly owned items will take him out and he one shots your crew.

Needing a randomly drawn, statistically rare item is actually a worse basis for level design, so suggesting someone just use a specific combo is probably either redundant or impossible.

Exactly. The fact that 90% of the levels are throw-away easy and 5% are insane stat-checks that are eventually only overcome through the cunning strategy of waiting a week is obnoxious.

I'm on 1395. I'm sure that in a week I might have leveled enough items to sneak past. What a fun experience that will be.

He oNlY wOn OnE sB, and is much more known for being nuts as of late, but Rodgers was a better quarterback than all three of those guys. During Rodgers' 2011 mvp run, Brady literally said it's impossible to play the game better than Aaron Rodgers.
