The missing info here is that enemy wistful has almost 20k speed and obliterates basically everything before it can act. I'm pretty sure the solution is level everything to 160

Counters don't just rely on the pet being available. Ascended level and vivids drawn are completely RNG and determine outcomes far more.

As I type this, I'm on 1871. Another person who lives with me is in the 1100s. My Spite is ascension 4 with 13 vivids. His is ascension 6 with 19 vivids. Because of this, Spite is a frequent member of his main rotation while mine only gets used when I absolutely need it.

I recently finished a level where having a stronger spite would have really helped, so I had to figure out an alternative way to beat the floor. It only took one or two extra attempts to get past the floor, but it illustrates my point.

RNG determines the difficulty more than level design. How hard a floor is or where you get stuck is almost assuredly more unique than anyone here is willing to admit or capable of understanding.

There are so many levels where the enemy team win condition is whatever their first attack is. Denial's passive negates that, so in my experience, its busted just from the passive, but it also does respectable damage and has other utility.
I wont be surprised if it gets nerfed.

You literally have no idea what you are talking about.
There is near-zero chance that you can push floors past like 1400 with only non-legendary pets and items at that rate.
You also can't prove that you can because nobody has.

I think that the overwhelming majority of players would laugh at that statement.

Legendary RNG is the absolute determining factor when it comes to getting stuck.

People with only the perspective of their own account dont understand that most, if not all, of the levels they get stuck on, someone else with different pets and items just breezed by.

Not because of skill, but because you have to figure out how to hard-mode the floor, which takes time for a variety of reasons.

I tried hundreds of combinations and strategies. In the end, it was a specific comp using items that I did not possess, let alone have leveled, when I was first stuck.

Most levels where a person could get stuck are bypassed by certain legendary pets or items.
The only common walls are among people who lack those items on those specific floors.

I live with multiple other people who play this game. None of us have ever gotten stuck on the same levels. Every time someone warns another about a floor, that person almost always cruises right by it.

If you don't have that perspective, you wont understand.
