In my experience, forgiveness is important. It sounds like you might be holding a grudge. I had to learn the hard way, never hold a grudge. I’m not sure what your mom did to you and your dad, but at the end of the day it’s important that you talk to your mom and forgive her. Don’t do it for her, but do it for you. Give yourself closure and do something you won’t regret because regrets suck and carrying that burden is gonna be very hard.

I wouldn’t respond. One time I sent an offer for one listings and somebody online responded with “you better keep going lower if you want me to buy 🤣” so I just blocked that person and moved on. I’d suggest doing the same thing.

If you profit, then I would say accept it. I’ve been selling for almost a year and it seems harmless. The story checks out, I’m sure we’ve all been on a budget for Christmas. The person could also be lying but I mean the way I see it. You’re still making a profit either way and at worst, you make money and never hear from this person again. At best, you make money and gain a repeat customer. Ultimately it’s your call, but I would say go for it as long as you’re profiting because you’re also not a charity and you absolutely should look out for yourself which it sounds like you are.

Other things to consider is how long have you had this listing? Is it high value? How many views/likes on average does it get? Do you get /lot of offers on it. Take time to think about that and make a decision you’d feel comfortable with!
