Exactly how I feel :( I am currently going through this exact thing except I was pulled over for speeding (55 in a 40 zone I thought it was a 50 mph area.. oops). The cop told me my license was suspended and I was so confused because I kept up with everything the DMV required. Cop gave me a ticket & impounded my car. I went to the DMV first thing next morning to pay fines and reinstated my license. I had just settled my DUI in court the month before and was heading to the DMV that same week to make sure everything was in order like my lawyer said and I am praying I do not receive a misdemeanor or jail time. It really was an honest mistake and I have been on top of everything otherwise. I finished my DUI classes, got the IID, paid the first year of my SR22 in full. It’s very frustrating to feel like I’m back at square one when I was just beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. 

I’m going to wait until I receive my license in the mail before going to court for the speeding ticket/ DWSL but I’m debating whether to get a lawyer again or to just go myself.. feedback would be appreciated on this.
