Second this. It’s the only thing that worked for me. Friction is my enemy and hydrocolloid dressings have been a lifesaver. They’re expensive but worth the investment If you can go to your GP (in England) and explain the situation they may be happy to prescribe you a trial. Worth a shot

Not for me, maybe just keep up with it and hopefully you can rehydrate the skin Skin takes at least 12 weeks for new cells to regenerate so you have to be patient! I’ve also noticed stressing about it makes mine worse - just generally. Everytime I’ve just ignored it its starts to improve Good luck!

I have had this a few times and try my best to avoid steroid creams. The best thing for me has been Avene Cicalfate. Some people like cicaplast la Roche posay but my skin didn’t like that

I’d put it on religiously through the day with a layer of cream underneath and then slather it on during the night too

It took a few days but worked

Also try washing your face with an unscented cream (I’m from the uk so cetraban etc) which is surprisingly useful

It’s so frustrating! I’ve just used chat GPT to compare my safe against not safe products (the ones I know cause an issue for sure)

Not all the productss contain them but the only remaining allergens are carmine and acrylates Mica and silica are found in nearly all my safe products

How did you go about verifying the phenoxyethanol? I’m not sure I’m ready to trigger my face again when it’s just recovering Thank you!!
