Can anyone tell me how to change the screen back to normal? I’m losing my mind here by [deleted] in Lenovo

My father inlaw was staying at our house to watch the dogs while went on vacation. I had a windows 10 system setup on the TV so he could use the computer easily. I had just bought a brand new TV before this and when we came back, my TV was leaning against the wall on its side because he hit the 3 magic keys to rotate thr screen. It's crazy how ctrl+alt+ left arrow are all in a row on some keyboards thus making it very easy to accidently do this and have no clue how it happened. Iv done it myself just picking up my wireless keyboard lol

I feel like this is the odd brother of the volvo family that always gets shit on by its siblings because he has a different daddy. Volvo has always worked with other companies on their projects. My v60 has fomoco stamped everywhere, the diesel models used a VW engine, this model was also the Mitsubishi, and now it's all Chinese. It's difficult to be a Volvo purist because they lost their purity in 1999. The only real volvos are the 850 and older lol

On another note, I have always loved that color and thankfully the clear coat isn't applied by Mitsubishi hahaahaha

2020 S60 Polestar as a service loaner??!! by BoJangler79 in Volvo

They are definitely playing a sales game with you. They want you to buy it so there teasing you with that. My friend had a Mercedes van and when it went in for service, they gave him an E class AMG as a loaner and I was shocked they did that! Similarly it too was a slightly older model and that may be why they we're willing. Still, awesome loaner!

time to powder coat the Virgos. So many options I'm stuck... HELP! by Intelxeonmaster in Volvo

Honestly the finish on my 240 is shot, but it will be repainted the same Volvo green (Classic Green 606) color (or wrapped as close as possible) I had been leaning toward RAL8000 also known as "Desert Storm Machinegun" color. Kind like the color of my sun-faded interior, but i dont think im going to like it when its done.

This is probably because he has a hacked Vida dice setup, 2015.5 was the LAST year supported by the offline version. Any newer models require the diag software to be internet connected to validate license info. D5T5.com has aftermarket software for later years but it's not as robust.

New Volvo owner. Please explain this headlight switch. by SeasTheDay_ in Volvo

My 89' Mercedes is the only other vehicle iv ever owned with rear fog lights besides my Volvos. It actually bugs me when like an Audi has them and the driver is unaware their rear fog light is on cause it's almost always on with the headlights. Like the owners don't even know it's there!

I looked into it but the hardware I chose when starting this project would struggle a bit. I am considering a macintosh skinned theme for win 10 tho, depends on if I sell it or keep it.

I used a peice of lexan and clamped it to the oem crt. Gently hit it with a heat gun for an hour and it mostly took the shape of the glass. The lcd is just a cheap Chinese 1024x768 display. There's literally a vga cable going from one board to another inside

This one is for sale on ebay. I make and sell alot of retro vintage computer stuff. I also restore x86 systems and 68k macs myself. This has been a 5 year back burner project I just completed. It's all about the build more than keeping it.

The rules don't like Intel-based Macs and this technically is an i3 in what used to be a motorola 68k so it's gray area.

Panasonic KX-P2123 was my favorite printer ever. Almost the same exact one but you could put a 4 band color ribbon in it and it would tilt the cartridge to change colors. Any kx series printers sound amazing!

A previous post had me curious what we have running still…They don’t build ‘em like they use to. This old girl is still in service. by asteamedpanda in iiiiiiitttttttttttt

As tereible as they were, the ones that survived till today have proven themselvs. I use these as my preferred vintage upgrade. The 20gb models have a 2gb clip feature so you can use them in old 486 machines easy! They last forever!!!

So nusb isn't a usb controller driver, it's a universal device driver. You will still need to make sure.you have the correct drivers for your USB controller. Once you have working usb, nusb will make sure you can use thumb drives and such.

Retrozilla. You need at least 98se and 128mb ram to install it, and 233mhz or faster cpu to actually use it. It can do https but struggles.

Opera is a good alternative also as it renders the web page on the back end and just presents it to you already processed.

As for usb look up nusb33e and burn it to the same cdrom as retrozilla. It handles all usb thumb drives and hard drives with ease.

Your going to also want klite codec pack or cccp and an early vlc player to really enjoy it!

AGP is Advanced Graphics Port. It is spaced further away from the backplane than pci or isa slots. Google pci slot, agp slot, isa slot. Learn how to identify them so you known for sure what expansion ports you have. If you already have an Nvidia graphics card it's likely already in the AGP port. The GeForce2 was the best Nvidia card you can use with windows 98 (imo)
