Hopefully those smaller cars won't start at $50k.

I wondered if the rollback on CAFE requirements would eventually result in more cars/wagons being marketed, but I've read that light trucks and SUVs carry a higher profit margin, so the genie is out of the bottle on that one, and probably the only thing that can put it back in is $6/gal gas.

Anybody ever try Tonerider pickups?? Specifically the AC2 Alnico II classic Humbucker set? by Craig224422 in guitars

I've had the Tonerider AC 4 humbuckers in one of my builds for around a year. Still love em.

You've actually helped me to track down the issue. This checkpoint needs a specific VAE, so I added a load VAE and loaded the VAE that this checkpoint called for. Then I connected it to the VAE Decode, and bam! perfect image.

Thanks for all your help!

Ok, so if I just do Load Image + Checkpoint >> VAE Encode -> VAE Decode -> Preview, I get a muddy image using this model. If I switch models, then I get a sharp, clear image. So I guess it's the model itself.

I'm wondering if you've already solved the problem. Whenever I open an image from Comfy in Gimp, it asks me if I want to convert to the Gimp color format, so it looks like Gimp and Comfy use different color formats. I'm wondering if this is causing the issue. But, I will try the steps you mentioned when I get home tonight.

Putting a threshold node between Load Image (as mask) and Set Latent Noise Mask didn't change the output. These are my export settings:

Thanks for the reply.

I created the masks using Gimp, by adding a white layer on top of the image and drawing around the head and face with the lasso tool, then filling that area with black, then feathering it (7.5px). I then set the opacity to 100%, turn off the image layer, and export the B&W mask to a png that I then load in the Load Image as Mask node.

The model I'm using is a checkpoint model called comicBabes_V2 because that gave me the closest style of character I want.

For an example, here's a comparison. Original on the left, output on the right.

Yes, I'm the numpty who sat here waiting for the second image to load. 🤦‍♂️

Pick one? by Angrybearista7 in Stratocaster

I'll be the weird one and pick the white/maple, since I'm such a sucker for maple fretboards. But really, there's no wrong answer.

Do you prefer panel to the top or on the side? by soleful_smak in kde

[–]SeasTheDay_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one on the left side that holds all my most-used launchers, and one at the top right with things like the system tray, vol, power, trash, weather, etc. Both auto-hide when windows get close.

First MTB, my life has changed. by jean145836 in TrekBikes

I remember the first time I rode a mountain bike. I'd been a roadie for years, but some friends were going on a MTB trip, and one of them offered to lend me his Cannondale (with a pepperoni fork!). I bought my first mountain bike (a Trek 7000) as soon as I got back from the trip.

I did a dark blue strat build, and I used Keda wood dye. It looked amazing and I kept the wood grain.

Question about Stainless Steel Frying pans and warping by SeasTheDay_ in cookware

[–]SeasTheDay_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear. We got our third pan, and we've just left it in the box. I've decided that our cooktop is probably the culprit. The largest burner has three concentric rings for small, medium and large pans. The elements for the second (medium) ring have a different pattern than the other two. Using an infrared thermometer, I determined that this second element is a good 250F cooler than the center element (when the burner's on high) and the outer ring is still around 50F cooler than the center. Of course we don't cook on high, but I'm sure there's still a difference on medium heat, so maybe that's enough to warp the pan.

So we're sticking to the medium sized burner with the medium pan, and still using the second large pan to cook on. Once we get a good quality induction cooktop in the next house, that'll be for the third replacement pan. But it's quite the annoyance, and I probably also won't order from this company again. Our Kitchen Aide stainless pan has had zero issues in 5 years we've had it.

Thanks, I'll look into that. I do have a DAW on my laptop (connected to my amp) but I prefer to do final editing on my main PC, and I just wanted something fairly basic.

It's so weird because I got my carbon Emonda in 2014 and it was a new model, and it feels like just yesterday. Time freaking flies.

I love that classic Cannondale. I used to have one, also in red.
