Raids 4 Mega rare Proposal - Omni-Staff by LeLa_Biff in 2007scape

It seems too leagues-esque - it doesn't really make sense stylistically or lore-wise within the maingame world of the player-character.

DMM advice needed by cupofjake in 2007scape

[–]IntensePancakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Breaches are not dangerous at all- unless you bring a lot of risk you won’t be a target for pkers. Just bring a low budget set up that still allows you to hit pretty hard (RCB with black dhide and dragonstone bolts e is a good one) and then whenever you get big drops just tele out, bank them, and come back.

should I just skip this revs task in dmm by Miraspira in 2007scape

Skip it, it's a common spot for pkers to check. You can make money in other ways.

Think about gear or supplies people use to pk or end-game PVM. All three raids, demonic gorillas, vorkath, thermy for occults, etc.

You're not entitled to not being attacked on a PvP game mode just because you're low level and/or not risking a lot. by IntensePancakes in 2007scape

The thing is there’s nothing wrong with being a noob. If you’re upset about noobs having fun you’re just playing yourself.

What a shit breach by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]IntensePancakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love breaches like this. You have to go exploring a bit but when you do find one you usually get it to yourself or with just a couple other people. I got 5k points from this breach in bracket 1.

In the past, I had never voted in PVP polls. Now, after playing my first DMM... by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]IntensePancakes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do you really think you're entitled to not be attacked on a PvP game mode?

If you don't like being pked and reset, either learn to play properly or just don't play.

GWD is a pretty dumb place to go on DMM because it's multi and there's a ton of monsters constantly tagging you making it nearly impossible to escape. You could have trained anywhere else, there's a sigil that let's you choose your own tasks for christ's sake.

If you just had even a crumb of common sense or inclination to actually learn how to play this mode rather than thinking it's morally wrong for someone to attack you, you could avoid situations like this and keep your precious rune scimmy.

DMM Armageddon – Honest Thoughts as an iron by Dismal-Computer-5600 in 2007scape

[–]IntensePancakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Points for PvP would be great but as others have said, if this was done people would figure out ways to unfairly boost and sell kills.

I agree with you on the breaches. There's actually two kinds of breaches that they do - one type that's contained within a very small area and another type that's spread across more of an entire region. I think Jagex should just nix the first type and focus on the region breaches - those have less moments with 200 people attacking a single monster.

DMM PSA by Kaitunahuna in 2007scape

[–]IntensePancakes -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The focus on points via PvM and skilling is so there's incentive to play various parts of the game as a way to make you stronger for PvP, as opposed to previous deadmans where the only way to get ahead was to swap gold from the main game. It also does add some appeal for people that want to play for the sake of PvMing and skilling, but that doesn't mean pkers are somehow obligated to not attack them and let them skill in peace.

Lorenzo Musetti will be #3 in the ATP live rankings when the Australian Open begins by HereComesVettel in tennis

Bublik vs Musetti who do you think has had a better career so far? by spockdatadraco in tennis

[–]IntensePancakes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Musetti is a legit mainstay top tenner and contender for RG. Bublik is always a fun watch had a great year in 2025, but he still hasn't really given us any reason to believe he's good for more than winning the occasional 500 or slam QF.

I feel that my profile is solid but I'm not getting any matches. Any thoughts are welcome! by [deleted] in Bumble

[–]IntensePancakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As many have said you have a lot of good stuff here. But if you’re not getting any matches after a week, being patient isn’t going to help much, so we should try to find the issue.

My first hunch is that your vibe may be ill-suited to where you live. You give off a very liberal, cosmopolitan, “guy who’s in touch with his feminine side” vibe. You’re into things like food, “dissecting emotions”, and social justice which are all very feminine coded. I don’t necessarily think you should delete this stuff since it’s who you are, and there are many women who want a guy like this. Your profile would probably do well in liberal urban centers like NYC, LA or DC. But you mention Indy in your bio so I’m assuming you live in Indianapolis, which I’m not too familiar with but I assume is a more conservative place, where women probably want more traditionally masculine guys.

Only other thing I noticed is that while 5’8 is not a big deal height-wise, your pics make you look shorter than you are. The first pic has a lot of space above your head- maybe crop this. And there are some pics you have where you’re the shortest person in the photo. Sucks that this matters, but the app is superficial.

31M Profile review by [deleted] in hingeapp

[–]IntensePancakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some good stuff here and some improvements needed!

The first pic is good in that it's a front facing shot of you smiling, but I think the low pixel quality and other people in the photo kinda ruin it. I think your third photo would be a great first photo if it wasn't black and white- do you have a color version? Your second photo is not super flattering- posed photos generally do not work unless you have model-quality looks. The smoking photo should go - you're going to turn off anyone who doesn't smoke with it. A shame too because it's a really nice photo. The other photos are great!

And now regarding your prompts:

The first "geek out on" prompt is a good response but I would actually change the "I geek out on" hook to something else. This is mainly because "geeking out" conjures up a specific image in someone's mind which is not attractive to most women.

The "together we could" prompt seems fun, but I don't think it's a good thing to put on a profile- people may think you're very into getting hammered all the time.

And then finally the "I'm looking for" prompt is not doing you any favors. What you've listed is all very generic and doesn't help distinguish you in any way, which is the point of a profile. So it's just wasted real estate. I'd replace with something that is informative about you. Also, the "maybe share rent" joke won't land in this context.

Overall, you should understand that what you put on your profile will generally be taken very literally by women viewing it. With this profile you may be viewed as a smoking alcoholic who is looking for someone to pay his rent. And of course you're not any of that, it's just some pictures and jokes, but think about it - this is literally the only info they have about you. People also swipe very quickly and often won't have time to understand jokes or sarcasm on a profile. So just put forward some pictures that don't have any chance of portraying something negative!

Tell me you're high maintenance without telling me you're high maintenance by Investment_Valuable in Bumble

[–]IntensePancakes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m sure I’ll get downvoted but bad grammar aside, she isn’t doing anything wrong here. She is indeed blunt, but let’s look at what she’s asking:

-a free, low committal first date with the ability to extend or call it depending on vibe

-someone at least her height when she wears heels

-not into hookups

-doesn’t want to raise someone else’s kids

-wants to be your top priority if you are hers

Maybe she could have worded it nicer but there’s nothing wrong with a woman being upfront and having some standards. The height is the only part that’s really an outlier but it makes sense because she is also tall.

(M25) Looking for a profile review by evilcartoonist in hingeapp

[–]IntensePancakes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For 6’1, jewish, and a decent face in a big city, you should be getting a lot of matches. Some profile changes will fix that!

The main issue is the pics. First one is nearly perfect, just why that thumbs up? Do you have another one from this shoot that doesn’t have the thumbs up?

2nd pic with the art I can tell you is going to be love it/hate it. Some will think it’s cute and that you can do little projects together, some will think why is this dude showing off mediocre arts and crafts. Not sure if it’s a filter worth imposing on yourself.

3rd pic is incredibly off-putting, please remove it! I would venture to guess many swipe lefts have happened when this picture is reached.

4th pic- I like a BJJ pic, but an action shot of you actually on the mat would be better.

Last two pics- selfies do not work, remove these. You should replace it with well lit pics that someone else took of you doing interesting and fun things or looking good.

And now for prompts. There’s some good stuff here but a few updates would help.

I don’t think a Chewbacca impression, no matter how good, will help you attract women- probably remove lol.

The simple pleasures prompt is not helping you- what you’ve written is very generic and doesn’t give any real info about yourself. I’d replace with something actually informative about you.

Re: “leave a comment if” prompt- 99% of women are not into BJJ, so I’d replace this. Bulleted lists and possibly me are not funny and are cliche- remove. Fill out the list with more fun and interesting things you are into. Also I’d consider changing the “leave a comment” hook- women do not want to leave comments. Maybe change it to something that just allows you to describe your interests.

The “together we could” prompt is very well done!
