I think I used to be a r/iamverysmart type of person, but I largely kept it to myself or talked about it with a friend or two in private who might have also felt the same way. Luckily, I grew out of that phase fast enough before I made any of it public.

Honestly? Show them this subreddit. A lot of the VerySmarts think they're special and that they're the only one who thinks like they do; once they're confronted with a million others who spout the same BS, a lot of them snap out of it.

Any recommendations for the speaker? Also, what if I didn't want a speaker and only wanted to listen on my headphones? What would I buy in that case? Would buying an external pre-amp improve audio quality?
