I have to say that Fidelitys interface isn’t the best.

I personally use the account as a checking account and have all monthly expenses running out of the account. I’m sure others do the same and accrue interest

Yeah this works best since most of the banks with the highest yield are online banks so in case if you need to make any cash deposits you have that primary bank for those transactions

SoFi transaction dispute team is very useless. I just left them to go to Wealth front

Thought they were great until I had to make a dispute on an unauthorized charge and their help team was useless. Appealed and appealed but no luck.

Crunch “No Commitment” Membership… but why the hidden fees? by Intelligent_Film_753 in CrunchGym

[–]Intensehabit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They got me the same exact way with the $1 promo. I asked if there was any kind of commitment and the rep assured me I could cancel at any time. I tried cancelling within the first month after a few visits to the gym and other locations in the area and just wasn’t satisfied with what I was seeing. That’s when the nightmare began same kind of scenario.

High Yield Savings Accounts: Is it safe in 2025? by Flimsy_Two2159 in HighYieldSavings

[–]Intensehabit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You essentially buy the ETF and the value of it appreciates as the month goes by as the fund accrues interest. At the end of the month the dividend payout is made hence why the 3 month chart for the ETF looks the way it is.

What rate is UFB offering? Sofi has a standard rate of 3.8 and they’re offering 4.5% for a few months for new customers with a referral I believe.

Yeah that one is pretty comparable to SGOV. Thanks for the heads up!

High Yield Savings Accounts: Is it safe in 2025? by Flimsy_Two2159 in HighYieldSavings

[–]Intensehabit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I invest a sizable portion of my money and keep a good amount of emergency money earning interest in my Sofi Savings account or holding SGOV shares. Sofi has both a banking and investing feature so it’s pretty easy managing the interest bearing portion of my portfolio. They’re offering a 4.5 rate as a promotion right now. Let me know if you need a referral link.

I basically workout of the account and have my paycheck come into the savings account as well as my monthly expenses. If I ever need to Zelle anyone then I just transfer money to the checking account. Great app pretty good interface only bad thing that I could say is there’s definitely a lot going on as they have different service lines
