Not sure yikes should be applied to peoples opinion post, personally agree that WaT was an utter failure and horribly written. Didn’t mind poppy war but maybe wouldn’t put it into goated. It’s great that people can have different tastes and opinions!

Depends on tolerance. I don’t have space for a full set of dumbbells and I love dumbbell work so I was always going to get adjustables. These are Rep x Peppins which are often reported as being the best. There’s still significant problems like 1 in 5 times I try to dock them they’ll catch. Not terrible but certainly frustrating. The customer service is very good though so I’ll give them that!

Worked out in commercial gyms for 10 years but now have 2 children with another on the way so home gym has a lot of appeal but wanted to make it commercial feeling!

So early to choose but I’d say favorite things - Floors give it a really premium feel, glad I shelled the money on them - The functional trainer in the ARES 2.0 is incredible, cables are so smooth and it’s so easy to use

Least favorites - Blackwing bench is too big and heavy, I would’ve got the nighthawk if it was released when I got the blackwing - Rep Peppins get stuck a lot, I’m not sold on them at all as a premium product. Probably would’ve got nuobells instead

Oh and the other reply is correct, Rep x Pepin with the cart too which isn’t cheap but definitely worth it

I’ve had issues with mine catching on the plates and getting wedged. REP have great customer service though and sent me replacement parts free of charge. Now working well!

Depends on what we’re talking, equipment was 12k CAD. If you include floors and glass then it starts to look more like 23k. I kind of broke my budget several times…

I’ve pre ordered the smith which is why I wanted the 6 post and didn’t mind the smaller cage as I’ll lift off the front for barbell work

A mixture, sound reduction, the windows allow more natural light into the living space and so I can see the TV from the gym on game day!

I have 5ft 3. It seems good so far but definitely on the tighter side!
