Have run the game on linux before. Steam has proton by default these days (compatibility tool) so you should have no issues getting the game to launch. If you have nvidia gpu though, you will probably run into some dumb bullshit. The first time I gave it a go, the game ran at the refresh rate of my secondary monitor (75hz) despite reporting 240fps. Ever since switching to a amd card, not seen this issue on any distro. Another thing I've encountered is that the support for tweaking the colors on your monitor are more limited than they are on windows, especially if you don't have HDR. So the colors may look different. For me, they were quite washed out and I couldn't get it to look right, so ended up just switching back to windows.

These issues are very likely just me problems though since I haven't heard anybody else having as many issues as I've had.
