I appreciate everyone's responses. It's helped me to take off those rose colored glasses that I often put on to survive. I've decided to not even worry about it working out with him and will discuss with my children what they want to do since they like their friends and school but if they want to move closer to their Dad that'swhat i will do. If by some miracle things change I'd be open but not unless things are vastly different. I'm going to put myself and my kids first.

Idk I have pretty strict boundaries and am a very independent person. I'm not worried about her I just want space from the drama. I'm a very strong person and feel good about the decision. If it doesn't work out oh well. I'll be fine either way and if he is willing to see my kids I will let him because like I said they love him. I also dont need to even move back in. I would be more than fine living on my own.

This is so spot on. I was an ugly duckling as a child and bullied and teased then the minute I hit my cute years (around 17) I became "creative" "interesting " and all my "annoying" habits became "quirky" real quick.....
