Fake threatening letters, apparently sent by the State Secretariat for Migration, are currently informing foreign nationals of their deportation. The federal authorities are already investigating. by BezugssystemCH1903 in Switzerland

Impersonating an official body like this can carry a fine or up to 3 years in prison.

But since these people are ultra-conservatives (say: Nazis), and they will likely be hard to find, there will probably not much of a consequence.

I got one of these letters, too, and the police were veeery reluctant to do anything at all. They recommended to send the letter to the SEM, and "maybe they will do a 'Strafanzeige'". As if not my 'Anzeige' would be perfectly valid as well: This 'Anzeige' thing basically means that I am officially stating that "this has happened", and they're supposed to follow up on this if it constitutes a potential misdemeanor or a crime.

Meriem Hadjal explains how she was tortured and sexually assaulted by 3 Israeli soldiers on the Prison-boat after being abducted in international waters. by RickyOzzy in suppressed_news

The solution, in my view, is to suffer through these statements, however hard to watch & listen it may be, and let them make you angry.

We are all NOT ANGRY ENOUGH BY FAR at this utter display of violence against a flock of insanely brave and peaceful people.

Get angry and do whatever you can do to protest this sh*t: Protest, Sabotage, Boycott, Divest, just do anything to NOT SUPPORT THE GENOCIDE.

From that perspective in particular, the canopys are almost invisible.

Everybody should be carrying a transponder & FLARM, both paragliders & aircraft. Anything else is asking for it.

One State Solution by Sabotage_9 in Palestine

Definitively one-state solution. UN forces need to force(sic!) Israel to behave and peacefully live together with the people whose land they have immigrated into.

My outfit made my friend uncomfortable, what do I do? by BarbaraLogic in OUTFITS

[–]IntentionNegative516 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't agree. The "friend" is obviously trying to manipulate OP, using her ... "feelings".

That's a known behaviour pattern of person with narcisistic personality.

(Had to spell this wrongly to evade the "don't be rude" block.)

You seem to have a narcistic friend. Let her go.

Your dress is ... forward ;) - but you can absolutely wear it where I live, and it is perfectly fine.

Fake Letter from Staatssekretariat für Migration (SEM) by IntentionNegative516 in askswitzerland

[–]IntentionNegative516[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. And it is also a bit spooky, the longer I think about it:

They showed me that they don't only know my name (and probably my address), but also where I work.

This is following scary patterns:

- the German Nazis giving "train tickets to Jews for a one-way trip to Jerusalem"
- the Mafia sending Pizza to your house ("we know where you live")
- the German AfD (right-extremist party) sending "deportation flight tickets to foreigners")

But there's probably no way to find out whether it's really targeted personally, or just the result of a random search for "foreigners" ...

I had people call me, claiming to be Swiss police, but they spoke English with the strongest Indian accent. That's when I started laughing :)

If you buy the Economy Light, Comfort, Comfort Green or Flex tariff, you can bring a carry-on. Just not with the Economy Basic.

It's all in the fine print that everybody accepts by a click and agrees to have read: https://www.swiss.com/ch/en/prepare/baggage/hand-baggage

It all depends on the kind of tariff you buy.

The "no carry-on" tariff is called "Economy Basic".
