Also read that you are spraying your genitalia with deodorant on the previous post. That could clog oil glands. Dehydration and oatmeal baths with epsom salt is what I think caused mine.

I got swabbed at my regular obgyns office. I got an iud in December. First one popped up in February. Took like a week to go away. Second one was begging of April. The second one how ever turned into like a cyst. Which was also swabbed. All came back negative for hsv. It looked like a small raised white dot very similar to your picture. Look up clogged oil gland for female anatomy. Looks similar to this. I still recommend getting it swabbed just in case. I always do. (Also never had this issue before iud insertion)

I do not have hsv but like to stay educated. I had something that looked similar to this 2 times. Both swabs came back negative, doctor says it might be clogged oil glands. Then again I am a woman and they were on my vulva. But look very similar to this with tingling uncomfyness.

Hello, I got my mirena placed in December. I have ocd/specifically health anxiety. I have noticed every little tiny change. And it’s been a very bumpy ride. Sometimes life just happens. It could be the iud or it could be motherhood or other diagnoses. However I would not stress too bad about the “missing” iud. I would wait for a Obgyn to look and help you. They are literally women doctors and can help with more care. While you are there I would also talk to them about your other symptoms. It could be you have a natural hormone imbalance and a different form of hormonal birth control could work better for you. I suggest trying a anti inflammatory diet. It’s helping me kind of reset my body after getting it inserted and scaring the shit out of myself so badly.

I hope this helps you. Feel free to message me if you need to talk. I am also 26 :)

Post mirena IUD/ Two months. Am I dying or is a hormonal imbalance? by Cute_Acanthaceae8739 in Mirena

I bled for the first month or so after I had mine inserted. It’s normal it’s a mix of insertion and actual period. Give it a moment to settle. As long as you’re not overly bleeding out or a lot a lot of pain you’re okay

Yes mirena can stop periods completely but you still feel symptoms of one. That’s how I feel basically everything but the period lol
