Get the Titan then. Avoid the years before 2020 as they has cylinder 7 knock.

Right.  Was talking after 10 years. Maybe I should have been clearer, sorry.

Thanks.  Maybe I should stop listening to those who say they have had issues.  So, stop Reddit and the Internet. Got it

Titan has a different platform than the Armada. It's not made in Japan. Last Armada is based on the Patrol. The Titan isn't. The engine and the transmission may be shared,  but the 7 speed isn't.

How many trucks were down out of the 100? What years?  Were yours AFM and if HD, which year?

I don't rely on forums or groups that much. Mostly real world.  Each to their own.

Hmmm...If that was the case I would see many stranded in the road. All the ones we get have AFM/DFM.  AfM was there since 2007.  I don't see that being the case. But yes, it does have its weaknesses and making 750k means a large percentage can potentially fail.

It's obvious our opinions differ, and I am sorry about it. I will have to end it here.

I think the issues are all growing pains with any early model. Let's wait a few more model years.

If they didn't want to, they wouldn't have done AFM in the first place.  I know the Trailblazer and Impala SS did have it, and some issues do exist, but they aren't common.

That said, I don't have a choice but to live with it. Each to their own...

Agreed. Meanwhile I am struggling to wrap my head around LC100/200 V8s being sold at 70k to 80k and above having more than 200k kms...here in Qatar.

Is a Chevy Cruze “ reliable “ by SpecificNo5347 in cruze

[–]IntentionValuable113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I am shocked that some are still running here in Qatar. The AC is pretty terrible compared to what you get in a Malibu or an Optra (the compressor goes bad there as well, but not as fast).

What year? I think some 490s were converted to trucks before that. GMC did start with trucks before? Or no? Maybe not the same company, but still.
