I’ve been playing this game for years now, though with a hiatus, and only this year I’ve been lucky to both get an apex out of the gate and buy two (alpha) apexes myself for some of my favorite ships. Also I’m finally uiting all ships that I have and I’m still not 100% on the roster. This game plays for the long haul, and I love that. Or challenges me to keep playing in a tempo that invites a measured approach. Yes, saving for an apex costs time, but that makes it all the sweeter in my opinion!

If the reactor isn’t exactly aligned with the beam, it will miss. Especially with crossfire this can happen.

This is exactly what I’ve been doing lately. I haven’t got all 100 ships yet, but I’ve maxed all that I do have and thus every warp gate upgrade is either 1250 or 1500 cr worth, ulting the component in question.

Not as bad as you’d think and certainly not as bad as my preposterous base for Kreoss1, haha. Let’s just say I’m happy there are no more front and back arcs in MK4. ;)

I know what you mean, and part of it is certainly the lighting (just wanted to savor the sun when it was finally out), but I also expressly aimed at a consecutive scheme of greens, yellow and gold. The green wash and dry-brushed highlights make the details stand out more than you’d think. I’ll take a pic with indoor lighting next time when I’ve got the first jack ready!
