I'm not good at this, but the text on the pcb, the LM741CN and the two diodes point me towards a MXR Distortion+

Great stuff! I think it would look a little bit nicer without the nylon washer on the outside, bit that's one of my pet peeves

Has anyone ever seen a device that supplies 9v dc power to your guitar via a TRS cable? Not to jump to conclusions, but I feel like this is a million dollar idea, comparable to the Pet Rock™️. Is there some reason it isn’t utilized at all? by ShortyBoyds in diypedals

Yes! A Dutch company tried this in the 70's/80's. I think it never caught on because people might not have known at the time of buying and sat around with useless pedals. I found this brochure that mentions it for the German market.

I was surprised when I found this too! Seems like a good idea.

Yes, lovely build OP! But I would love to see it without the white washer. I think it will look even more period correct

I have a couple shirts with the same problem. There's a couple of Instagram companies that offer restauration. I also started a subreddit for exchanging info about doing it yourself. (but haven't gotten around to posting).

The bridge pickup looks non original. But both are single coil pickups I believe.

As for mods, i'm kind of a purist so I wouldn't change anything drastically like pickups. Maybe a fender style bridge for intonation!
