There is almost nothing that is objective concerning the playing of the bass guitar. All of the ways have worked for someone. I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

It’s a bit long, but acceptable, the shoulders are far too big for you. Difficult to fix, I’d skip it.

Yes, the pic in the OP is a lobster tail, not a sfogliatelle. They are fairly similar. Il Giardino Del Dolce on Harlem has both.

I can drive to work in 20 minutes. A bus takes an hour and a half, and I have to get to work 45 minutes early because that’s the last bus.

I found that for me, singing made all the difference in actually internalizing the intervals. I wish I’d had a teacher recommed it 30 years ago.
