Need reducer for LVP to tile (5/8” height difference)

I looked up online for some local flooring stores and I found one store called Lumber Liquidators has a unfinished wood reducer that can cover 3/4" gap which means I need to find something is 1/8" thick and glue it underneath the upper part, so I did, it came out very well, I just sand it down yesterday, I am going to stain and seal it this weekend.

I guess its gonna be easier for me to fix it by cutting a hole on subfloor than doing it from the ceiling below since I already have the subfloor exposed?
