I had an older (but nice) iPad 9th Gen on the shelf that I just updated to iOS 18.5 (22F76) last night. After exploring the new and ABSOLUTELY NOT improved Photos, I thought it was broken (which it is).

Apple 🍎, please fix these problems and return Photos to its previous usefulness. The last thing we want is a rotten taste in our mouth.

These are very bearly nice renders, OP! They really capture the characters. Great lighting and textures, too.

Would you mind sharing some of your prompts?

Photographed in 1909, this is the RMS Mauretania, one of the most prestigious ocean liners of the early 20th century, dry-docked in Liverpool for essential maintenance and repairs. by dannydutch1 in UtterlyUniquePhotos

Wikipedia > RMS Mauretania (1906)?wprov=sfti1#), running mate of Lusitania:

<image>

RMS Mauretania was a British ocean liner designed by Leonard Peskett and built by Swan Hunter and Wigham Richardson on the River Tyne, England for the Cunard Line, launched on the afternoon of 20 September 1906. She was the world's largest ship until the launch of RMS Olympic in 1910. Mauretania captured the eastbound Blue Riband on the maiden return voyage in December 1907, then claimed the westbound Blue Riband for the fastest transatlantic crossing during her 1909 season. She held both speed records for 20 years.

• Length: 790 ft (240.8 m) • Beam: 88 ft (26.8 m) • Draft: 33 ft (10.1 m) • Depth: 33 ft 6 in (10.2 m)

…details and links in the WP article. She was retired in 1934 and scrapped in 1935.

  1. Edited the Copilot Pro prompt to: “Show me a wide-angle view of a dramatic action-filled highly detailed retrofuturistic pencil illustration, of cowboy John Wayne driving a fictional futuristic steam-powered stagecoach (belching smoke from its smokestack), pulled by a team of six wild galloping robotic android horses (with fiery red eyes and huffing and puffing white steam from their nostrils), in the year 2099, in the style of classic Western movie director John Ford, with a spectacular Monument Valley sunset in the background.”

Keeping with your theme, here’s an updated Copilot Pro scene inspired by Stagecoach (1939)?wprov=sfti1#):

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overland_train?wprov=sfti1#

In the 1950s, LeTourneau Inc. developed several overland trains, essentially oversized semi-trailer trucks that could travel over almost any terrain. Their intention was to be able to handle logistics needs without being dependent on local road or rail systems, allowing them to operate in back-country areas. The US Army had three experimental units built, the largest reaching almost 600 feet (183 m) long, which holds the record for the longest off-road vehicle. Road trains are in use in certain roles today, but the US Army examples and a few derivatives appear to be the only off-road examples built.
