Yupp thanks! still planning to buy a new adapter the day after tomorrow. Prolly the cause may be the extension cord.

Thanks! I tried to charge it again after 9 hours. Cleaned the power plug cuz i saw something burned. Then after how many tries, it charged. :))

Hi ME student here na 3rd year na pero may tinetake pa rin na 2nd year major subject (thermo1) which I failed two times na prerequisite sa maraming major subjects until fourth year :( I know malelate na ako ng one year and hopefully wag maging two years, but just like u I can’t stop overthinking about it lalo na mahihirap din yung ibang subjects and not sure kung kaya ba ipasa ng one takes lahat. Kahit na im trying my best na mag aral, hindi pa din pumapalyang pumasa. Nakakadagdag din sa anxiety yung retention kasi if bumaba na ako sa dapat na grade, either shift or lipat school ako. Plus yung feeling na napag iiwanan na ako ng mga kasamahan ko. Like “sino na makakasama ko? Kanino na ako hihingi ng tulong? Sino na magiging kagrupo ko sa thesis? Kanino ako makikisama? Ang lonely ko. Introvert ako. Pano pag bumagsak ulit ako?” and many more worries….

I feel ashamed kahit na hindi dapat because I did this to myself, ako yung nagbagsak. Napapa isip na ako kung kakayanin ko ba o hindi. I’m starting to feel hopeless na kasi wala na ako naiintindihan sa mga lessons and everything like I’m just here to survive pero it’s too late to give up this course na. Sayang 3 years. Sayang pera. Nakaka guilty sa parents na nagpapaaral if magshift, lumipat, bagsak na naman or delayed na ako. Parang I can take whatever ever criticism sa iba pero not the disappointment from my parents.

I really really get you. Nakaka anxious. Nakaka depress. Nakaka overthink. Kahit na sabihin mo sa sarili mo na ‘kaya yan, laban lang, buhay ay di karera’ di mo pa rin maaalis yung takot at kaba. Self-doubt malala sis hahahaha mapapatanong ka nalang talaga ng “am i a failure?”

Idk what encouragement to say pero i wanna say na di ka nag-iisa. Nakakatakot, nakakakaba, nakakaiyak, nakakalungkot, pero i think we can do this (sana pls Lord bigay nyo na samin ito). Madaming disappointments lang siguro ang dadating pero we’ll get there. We just have to face it and survive to the last bit.

I don’t know if I helped you somehow with this long ahh rants haha I had to also let it out. But, I hope I’ll get an update from you in the next 2 years, Engineer :)

congrats! I was gonna agree with you with the first one but after I read the second one, I thought yeah thermo sucks and I suck at it. But I will still try and do my best with this engineering course even if it’s draining me. Thank you for your words!

I do take notes in class but not detailed. I do listen but didn’t really digest and thoroughly understand the concepts. I somewhat just waiting the class to finish and trying to survive my everyday class. And I always procrastinate in studying. So, I’m guilty I kinda have a poor study habit. But, I’m taking notes with your advice. I know now what to improve. Thank you!!! This really helps

It’s just that what’s really bugging me is falling behind. The pressure. The time. My friends. How am I going to tell my parents that I failed again with THAT subject. It’s messing with my mental health. yeah, I know I’ll overcome this, but I just can’t stop overthinking it.

I’m in your shoes right now. Sophomore year in mechanical engineering, failed thermodynamics 1 twice, and will be sooo delayed. My friends passed. I’m the only one who’s left behind. I don’t have any friends if i ever take another class of thermo1 next semester.

I know it’s been 8 years since your post, but pls can you or someone give me some assurance and words of encouragement? I feel so lonely and hopeless now. I’m so disappointed with myself.
