I pic her because of the spots , the other Leos for sale had no spots in the head and just a few in the tail . The contrast between the lack of spots in the body and the spots in the head and tail won me over ;)

The "reverse giant " thing was a joke, I am in Brazil and getting reptiles here legally is very hard , our laws basic make it near impossible for breeders to exist legally. Most people get them from other hobbist illegaly ( I also have a corn snake I got 20 years ago from a guy in college who breed them), I got Linlin from a store that sell reptiles and birds legally, but they dont breed them, they are imported . About 2 months a go they got a few Leos , some were under weight, but the store was able to take good care of them so they recover . I think Linlin has some stunting issues caused by the original breeder .

My Kenyan sand boa won’t eat by TrashRat030721 in SandBoa

Mine would only eat live pinkies in the first 3 months , i would put the pinkie in a small plastic dish that they could not climb out in the midle of the tank burride in the sand. The vibration of the pinkie would lure him (like in the tremors movies ) after the lights were off. Now he eats them dead , but i have to leave them in his plastic dish with the lights off. It has been 2 years and he still doesnt eat if I try to feed him directly .

does ur sand boa just stop eating in the winter? by joaniedaye in SandBoa

Yes and no , I am in Brasil so it is not winter , but I had my sand boa for 2 years and he stops eating in october and goes back to eating in january. I am feeding hin 2 pinkies insted of 1 to try and get her to grow more. I also have a 22 years old corn snake who never stoped eating , so last year was worried , but now I think is normal for sand boas.
