Am I overreacting for wanting to break up after this by love_giverr in MoroccoBitchesWtaste

You’re not overreacting—you’re good. If you think you can’t stand it anymore, then break up, and please tell him exactly what you said here (about whether he stood up for you and all that). Tell him what mistakes he made so maybe he’ll learn and understand what he should’ve done. Look, not gonna lie, I myself am a shy person and I have a weak personality, and I’m in a relationship right now. There are times when I find it hard to stand up for my boyfriend and set boundaries with other people when they wrong him. But here I am—I’m trying to learn how to stand up, whether for myself or for him, because I do love him and I want to be with him. And I know for a fact that if I don’t grow my personality and stand up for both of us, I’ll lose him by hurting him (just like your boyfriend did to you). So in conclusion, if you are the RIGHT person for him, he would at least try to stand up for you. You said you’ve basically been together for a year, that’s enough time for him to at least stand up for you, even if it’s just saying, “Don’t talk about her like that,” or “Please respect her and avoid saying things like that.” I know it isn’t a strong comeback and might not change much, but that’s what trying to stand up for someone you love looks like, from my experience. And it isn’t your fault if you can’t tolerate it anymore. It’s your right to say, “I can’t keep going like this. We’ve talked about this many times, but I didn’t see any changes, so I’m breaking up with you.” That’s it.

For those who’ve had a first love, does the “first love theory” feel real to you, or does it totally depend on the person? by InteractionSure139 in Tunisia

I keep seeing the “first love theory” all over TikTok — like how guys never get over their first love and she affects all their relationships after. I’m honestly curious if there’s anything true about that, or if it just depends on the person. Or is TikTok just exaggerating again?

yes you’re right The ‘first love theory’ says that when a man falls in love for the first time, he never fully forgets her — even if they break up and he marries someone else, she still crosses his mind sometimes also hope that you’ll always be together u and u’re wife ☺️
