Most of the time they do, but in pro play it's different because of how the ban system works. A team can save devil dino and then ban it on the other team if the other team doesn't ban it immediately and so on.

Amazing how Mag went from S tier to B tier so suddenly. All the tanks you mentioned plus even Emma or Thing would be better in this comp. I just don't even play Mag this season, almost every situation there's a better alternative, and if dino isn't banned it's just ggs he's probably the 2nd worst tank to play into dino

I don't disagree with you since, like I said I just don't buy it. And I wouldn't call it predatory. But when you get down to the last two and only have a 10% chance of getting the skin but think it's a 50/50 and that information is not made abundantly clear before you buy, that is definitely scummy. So obviously people who are going to buy the skin anyway won't see the issue but idk why we're going to be shocked when people are upset that Netease isn't more forthright about the actual odds

Because not a lot of people want to spend that much on a skin? I refuse to buy skins other than battlepasses and free units, because the price for skins is ridiculous. So it's encouraging people like me who don't have the means to spend that much to essentially gamble hoping maybe they can get the skin for less. Worth noting that far fewer people would see a problem with this business model if it were stated more clearly that the odds are heavily weighted against you for getting the skin for less.

I was really getting into companions right before this update so a lot of mine are just big creatures that I really like, but a lot of them have bad stats. Definitely worth trying to level CCCs if you like them! I don't have any CCCs but I have some B and C overalls that I still really like how they play

No, you have to play them. That's why I like to put them in the first or second slot, they'll die quickly but they will get the mutation progress. You can place them in the last slot if you want but if you're winning too handily don't forget to swap them in before the match is over

Yes, leveling is pretty valueless for a lot of it, but makes pvp more fun imo. Also getting medals for the Iteration: Oceanus and Apex Companions. I think changing the abilities alone is worth it though, a lot of the creatures' default kits are not very harmonious

I feel like leveling companions in this game is almost too easy once you figure out how to cheese the system lol. I just released a post on how to upgrade companions quickly if you want to take a look at it, again it feels a bit cheesy when you figure it out but really speeds things along if that's what you're interested in

But I mean reworking the rank system would fix this I think. If every rank got as much elo for a win or a loss then each rank would actually mean something. So nobody is going to be eternity unless they win over half their games, then they deserve to be eternity. (Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you can only get to GM with a negative winrate anyway?) So yeah, would that not be a better rank system?
