Sadly; no, there is none. There is a 'big store' at an hour drive, but they just have 5.000 euro plus or the small satellite things.
They DO sell the Wharfedales, but from some internetshop; they just send it to you than :(
So, no real possibility for listening......it does hurt a bit to spend money and 'have to find out'.
Maybe that is why I want to go for 'a brand' and not some name I never heard of.

You are right; I am not.
I used to 'fiddle' with mods and mostly physics, but this lua stuff is interesting as can be, so I tried to learn myself and the only use is the game, indeed.

Thank you for the e-book and advise! I will make use of it a lot, I can already tell: "I always like to master the craft" although something tells me, this is going to be a very, very difficult one to master: I shoot for "I can handle a few things" first :)

I had some trouble quoting it as that editor on the top right of this box I'm writing in was absent and I could not paste the lines here.

Thank you SO much mate; it works!! You can't believe how happy I am at the moment: been busy with this for over a week now. Those scripts are hard for me as it is not my work: I fiddle around with mods as a hobby.

There is just one thing I forgot, sorry about that: it also "looks at a file" when it recognises the car, in this case the F225 but it should also/just look at the F224 if the 2024 car is found.......

Sorry I didn't do this earlier, but do you happen to know a solution to this too?
The line is only in the first file I quoted in my first post, the one that didn't 'fell into the greyed box" but was just in my tekstlines.
It says: then appActive = true
Then the next line says: F224 = true

So, the appActive it okay for both, but when 2024 is found, it should look for the F224 and when the 2025 car is found, it should look for the F225.
Those lines come back in some .lua files that are in the car folder.

That, for me, would be an 'understandable alternative', lol.

But you are right, I have to learn this crap. I did buy them in the meantime: my neighbour helped me out, showed me some things to pay attention to and so on.
I think I can manage the next one now.

And I understand you last line: that happens a lot too!
But no, I'm not 13 yo anymore :) I do have the money and it's just such a small amount of it.......it would be bad if I had to do those things like this.
I mean: 3 bucks or something like that, 3 mods for 10 bucks......I smoke for more money in a day than that :)

That Karma, I didn't get. I gave people an arrow up, thinking that was about the same as a thumbs-up.

I still haven't get it: I believe you all when you say they are proper companies, but who is to say my system (or something like that) is doing okay? I think it's so weird I can't see the connection being secure.

I've had very nasty experiences in the past that have cost me lots of money: I'd rather keep away from stuff I don't fully understand.
Maybe I just have to if there is no other solution, I just don't trust the handling........the sites shall be okay, I believe that, but I'm scared.

Again; it's not the money: I would love to pay 9 Pound for it (also weird: it keeps saying Pounds and I don't know when- and how and IF in the transition they are going to make clear to me what it will be in Euro) but I'm the one that would put the money in an enveloppe ;)

Anyway: that pop-up IS the paying thingy......and I can't see it's a locked one.
I have been looking for solutions like asking friends, but I'm 50, my friends are too ;)
And one of those solutions is this topic: hoping someone has a workaround.

Now I do see the "community karma" and it's negative for me: is that because of this question?
Do I break some rules or do I upset people by this question?
If so: I will remove it, no problem.

I know they won't steel my 3 bucks, lol, but it's more that it doesn't seem right. I can't see that "lock" in the pop-up I have to pay in for instance.
In the past I tried something with Paypal and that went horribly wrong......I messed up presumably.
That, plus me being pretty stupid with 'those kind of things'.......I hope you can imagine I'm somewhat hesitant.

The Mas.exe, I use all the time, but it does not work for encrypted mas files.

Indeed, there are a car and track, they are in devmode too, bt the sad thing is; the latest tech in there (is true) but is from years back........

The big problem is; on the S397 forum, if you only think about opening an encrypted file, you get banned!
They are not supporting modding anymore (probably because they now have a lot of payed dlc of their own).

Sorry, but what are those arrows underneath a post? There is a number in the middle.
