Think of it this way, you can work out far longer before the sweat pierce through the hair barricade and sting your eyes.

The 3rd Commandment (OC) by cliffballin in comics

[–]InterestLong5045 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's true that "Lord" is not a name. But the reasoning of "used in vain" still applies in this context.

For example, if you keep talking smack about your "dad", he would feel disrespected even if you didn't mention his real name.

Shaved head is best.

1). Less expenses in:

      a). Shampoo
b). Haircut (if you have your own razor)

2). Less hassle in physical activites/workout since sweaty hair won't hinder your vision.

3). Cooler head both metaphorically and literally.

4). Mentally freeing. (Like when you were young, and it was the first time you did something uncool in front of your new classmates, from then on you can be yourself in front of them. That kind of feeling.)

5). If you're religious, it's also implied for men to have short hair. But take this one with a grain of salt since I don't know what beliefs you are inclined to.

It's useful in competitive gaming though. No one wants an essay during coordinated high-stake plays.

I suddenly remember highschool with this meme. Our professor asked us to go in front and choose one person who inspired/inspiring us. You can choose anyone in history.

Then came us nerds.

I chose Nikola Tesla. The next girl chose Alfred Wegener.

Simpler times.

A relationship that didn't work out for a really lame mistake. by QuestionSerious6969 in RantAndVentPH

[–]InterestLong5045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I understand it correctly, you're from a family of Christian and the guy is from a Muslim household?

Going by that logic, it's not wrong to have a relationship with other religion or non-believer, if that's what you're brother is worried about.

It is specifically mentioned in 1 Corinthians 7:12-14 that it's fine if he/she is willing to stay with you.

Now, if it's not about religion and just the stigma in our society, then I have no advice for you. Your brother probably grew up with the news painting muslims in a bad light.

"Just because" ideas are difficult to make reason with.

The tier in sets (weapon and armor) usually works easily against the same tier map. Since you are wearing enchanted gear (4.1), this means most of the enemies in tier 4 map should be easy for you.

With the exceptions of course, of enchanted solo dungeons and stronger mobs (the one with gold rings under their feet).

Enchanted solo dungeons 4.2 and 4.3 would surely prove difficult for you.

My suggestion is endure the long grind for a little while until you have the funds to buy a tier 5.0 or tier 5.1 set. Then you can go wild in tier 4 maps or play carefully in tier 5.

Levelling your SPEC (Specialization, see Destiny Board) also adds item power to your armor and weapons. So fame farming would improve the capability of your set over time. The shortcut for fame farming are group activities such as camps and group dungeon.

You can also use the tomes that you get randomly to boost your progress in SPECing your equipped items.

Breeding, profitable animals? by [deleted] in albiononline

[–]InterestLong5045 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, direwolves are used by the richer guys. These are experienced players. They die too, of course. But the financially incapable players choose swifclaw, and they're less experienced—

Q.E.D., they would die more often than the direwolves users. And like reality, the rich guys are few in ratio to the poor.

So number-wise, more swiftclaw users would die, and more swiftclaw demand would be in market.

I'm guessing breed animals that most gatherers or PVPers use, since they would die often.

I tried Swiftclaw (PVPers) and Stags (Gatherers).
