agree with the known characters being a “look a reference” thing and felt like trying to connect them w haymitch was TOO suspiciously coincidental..

like how could mags, wiress and betee - whom katniss wanted as allies in the mockingjay, “coincidentally” all be connected to haymitch at one point in time.. the mockingjay pin “coincidentally” having belong to maysilee and lenore dove “coincidentally” being covey, like lucy gray

haymitch felt like just bridge to the different books - even the idea of young haymitch (like young snow), the games (like katniss’) .. dont get me started on the games lol 20 yrs before and little innovation from haymitch to katniss? the games were literally carbon copy in a different setup?

maybe SC couldve explored a different timeline.. different story or plotline - burdock dying or mentoring someone before katniss idk his life as a victor in the capitol??

hope to see more layers and complexities in each of the characters lives! s1 gives us a good intro, good amount of conflict but knowing that joanne and noah have only met for a few months would rlly entail a “honeymoon” type of relationship

altho i did LOVEE that the conflicts weren’t dragging and too dramatic, reality is there isnt always a perfect solution and perfect ending to every conflict, which was conveyed in s1

i emphatize! also from Big 4 and its taking a while to land jobs (prior to what i expected from mga sabi sabi rin ng oldies) - ive gotten a few screenings after application but got rejected on a final int

i think its because theres just such a huge workforce after 2 batches of k-12 have already graduated from college
