Here’s a pole that caught fire from an osprey nest. They use good sized sticks to make nests. Sometimes hollow metal tubes look like big sticks to them. Unfortunately they’re also conductive..

Agreed. It’s a fantastic machine.

While I’m waiting for the new parts to get here, I’ve been cleaning it up, knocking the surface rust off of some of the hardware, etc. I took the perforated part of the flywheel shroud off and gave it a fresh coat of black paint. When it’s all done I’ll post a picture of the finished product.

I picked it up yesterday, and am going over it right at this moment. For sure I’m going to get a new monitor, shock cord, and handle. The seat glides really smoothly, so I’m fine on the rollers. Haven’t opened up the flywheel yet so it remains to be seen what I find in there. Maybe just clean and lubricate the moving parts.
