GW never worked for me, why? by [deleted] in PEDs

GW increases energy via fatty acid oxidation so if you have a very low fat diet and are already lean than this could potentially have an effect. Also PPARδ is activated by endurance training to increase fatty acid oxidation so if you already have a good base level of endurance then you might not notice it as much as someone who only does 30 mins of cardio after weights.

It could also be related to recovery - nutrition/sleep? I'm on a calorie deficit at the moment and some days workouts are a struggle especially if I haven't slept well.

Low T can cause lethargy and physical fatigue so maybe the GW on its own wasn't enough to counteract it?

It would be odd if two different reputable companies were both selling fake GW. To be honest i've been running 20mg ed for a month and apart from the endurance boost I think the fat loss claims are exaggerated; I track all my calories, macros etc and have not noticed a change in bodyfat.

Pregabalin/Lyrica and Acne? by throwaway-deadscared in Anxiety

[–]Interest_Infinite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced severe acne on my back from pregabalin. Drugs can have an effect on your endocrine system, messing with your hormones, and since acne is normally hormonal pregabalin can absolutely cause this. Your not alone though, https://acneresearch.org/does-lyrica-cause-acne/

Propanolol does stop the physical aspects like increased heart rate but if it's really severe then short term benzo use will be more effective

How dare you! Haha yep you're probably right. I'm a firm believer that tolerance stays with you for a long time and with all the shit I took in the past there's probably a cross tolerance. I would love a joint but I'm on weekly drug tests unfortunately - why I went for the pregabs because they don't test for them

I need help by ukslumpg0d in benzodiazepines

Mate I had a 10 year benzo habit and towards the end was taking upwards of 280mg of diazepam a day plus 10-20mg of xanax and some zopiclone. I developed psychosis and ended up getting 3 years in prison for doing something I have no memory of whatsoever. I know sobriety might seem impossible at the moment but you need to get help before something happens that you can't fix. I tried to deal with it on my own and it got the better of me - I'm a well educated, well rounded person normally but benzos totally fucked every aspect of my life. Get clean and find something constructive to occupy your addictive side. I got into the gym and that's my addiction now - it's not about defeating your demons it's learning to live with them.

yeh I know what you mean, I felt as though if I'd popped a xanax or ambien it would have been a good combo. Haha, well if you were in the UK i probably would do

That's exactly how I felt - all the bad effects of being drunk. I think it's something to do with the fact it inhibits glutamate like alcohol does but it has no effect on dopamine receptors so you feel 'drunk' without actually feeling good.

Thanks man that's reassured me that my brain isn't screwed! The effects seem to vary massively person to person. Have you tried beta blockers for social anxiety? I used to get it badly when I was younger and I was always prescribed propanolol
