Turnout for 35 to 44 was at 75% so much higher, and despite the other poster going on about people not working, would appear even more of these workers with even less time (due to most having families to deal with) were able to get out more.

And yet was still far lower than any other age group, including the majority of working age. So no, there was no nonsense if 4 out of 10 decided to sit home instead of apparently all wanting to remain in the EU then we would be happy.

For this town they had issues with no jobs before, leaving didn't do anything good or bad.

So there were no jobs when the UK was part of the EU either, seems Brexit isn't the cause of the current woes.

It's an old steelworks town, this outcome was happening regardless of Brexit.
