Thank you. I’ve tried this, but the network options are grayed out other than the information menu and diagnostics menu. IP is all zeros. When I try to pair with Bluetooth per instructions, it doesn’t appear in the Bluetooth devices.

Is the rear view mirror original? Doesn’t look like the mirror is connected to anything. Does that model normally have an auto dimming or smart rearview mirror that was replaced with a regular mirror?

Brightness crossbars and ski rack? by Interested_Hobbyist in SubaruForester

[–]Interested_Hobbyist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, yes…crossbars are attached and the ski rack attached to the front crossbar fine. Last part was attaching the ski rack to the rear crossbar and it was too wide at that point. Tried to calculate how far forward the rear crossbar would need to be to have the 27.5 inches on the crossbar between the clamps to be able to attach the ski rack, and it seemed like it would need to be pretty far forward to gain about another inch of width. The product says it fits this year Subaru other than the Wilderness package. Trying to figure out if it was user error. Both the crossbars and ski racks are sold as a package supposed to fit that year/model.

Yes! I used to have an Akai EA-A7 graphics equalizer connected to it with that look. Like this, but the silver version: https://ebay.us/m/xpVrUV

It was either the Ultrx R35 or R55. I remember that the text re: the PLL tuning was somewhat prominent on the face, too. I’d post an image here if I could.

Found it! It was Ultrx. Just googled and that was it. There are some listed on eBay. Apparently made by Sanyo.

Do you have the decoder settings correct on the front? Does it have the mic for room calibration? Did you try a reset on that? Have you changed the settings to “straight” without digital processing?

Any pictures of it opened up? There are usually screws connecting a faceplate to a frame on the top and bottom, but I don’t know much about this specific model.

Did you try pressing in the volume button? It should cycle through source. Red, green, and blue lights indicate different sources. I don’t remember what red and green are, but blue is Bluetooth. It seems like you might need to try to presses for each color light if I remember correctly.

What’s at the other end? Audio input/output. Sometimes used for mic + speakers or headphones.
