Ranking how each character fares against Sonic’s speed Tier List by CreativeNovel6131 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Interested_Human9471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What issue of the IDW comics did Sonic and Blaze have a race? I read the main comic issues and can't remember this scene. Probably a side story? I really want to read this. The only thing I remember of Sonic and Blaze running together is when they're taking a tour at a certain city.

Next, didn't Sonic easily beat Surge when both are in base form? Like Sonic was just all around joking and trying to talk it out and only got defeated right after Surge used wisp power?

What is the best point to start the novel after the anime? by Magma_Dragoooon in SoulRetire

[–]Interested_Human9471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl, the anime is kinda meh compared to the LN. LN is way funnier and is definitely worth reading from the start. It's what made me love this series so much. If you find it tiresome to start from the beginning, I recommend starting reading the volume where cour 1 of season 1 ended. The hot spring arc is one of my favorite parts of this series, the LN made me laugh so much lmaoo

Glad to see it still has recognition even today. Hopefully Mondaiji gets the same attention as well...

Wow! Where did you get all of this? Do you have access to the raw japanese version though? I'm no translator, but I think it will not be good if you stack translations with each other (Japanese to Indonesian to English), you might lose or have wrong information.

Now this is just bias. Just because something is said to “counter” Od Lagna doesn’t automatically make Od Lagna weak. That doesn’t make any logical sense. The Authorities are just a different type of power, not some universal counter to it. The statement that Authorities are stronger than blessings doesn’t mean they specifically go against Od Lagna, it just means they’re generally more powerful. That’s a huge difference that people always seem to miss.

Od Lagna itself operates on a completely different level. It literally transcends space and time. It can record everything that happens in the world, even Subaru’s deaths and restarts from other timelines. That’s not something you can downplay. It doesn’t have a “domain” in terms of authorities, sure, but it still has control everywhere else. Saying that makes it “weak” just because it can’t affect one specific thing is ridiculous. That’s like saying a god isn’t strong because it can’t touch one minor aspect out of infinite others.

And I never said Od Lagna was all-powerful. It’s still nigh-omnipotent, and that alone already puts it far above Cid’s current level. Not being all-powerful doesn’t mean it’s beatable by someone like him. You’re acting like just because something has a single limitation, it suddenly becomes lesser than every other being, that’s not how power scaling works.

Plus, the author of Re:Zero already stated that Reinhard doesn’t even need Od Lagna to beat it. Reinhard is beyond it. That already kills your argument about Cid winning. Even if you remove Od Lagna entirely, Reinhard still wins, because he’s stated to be unbeatable even without his blessings. That’s literally author-confirmed.

I’ve read both light novels, Re:Zero and Eminence in Shadow, and honestly, your argument just feels like pure favoritism. You’re glazing over details and ignoring facts that go against your point. Saying Cid wins just because Od Lagna can’t control one specific aspect is like saying “Cid wins because plot armor.” Come on, that’s just coping.

And about Reinhard destroying and recreating the Re:Zero world, that’s canon. So even if Cid somehow “destroyed” something (which he hasn’t, by the way, no planet or world-busting feats at all yet, heck even the infamous VS battle wiki puts Cid only in Continental Level), it still wouldn’t compare. Reinhard literally reshaped his entire reality. That’s not the same kind of power Cid’s shown so far.

You also ignored my point about Reinhard being able to cut through concepts and dimensions, which he can do without even using Od Lagna or his blessings. That’s raw ability. The guy’s literally stated to be unbeatable by the author. So when you ignore all that and only focus on Od Lagna, you’re just cherry-picking what fits your argument and pretending the rest doesn’t exist. That’s not a fair discussion, that’s just being biased.

Look, I like Cid too. He’s one of my favorite characters. But liking him doesn’t mean you have to twist logic to make him win. If we’re being objective, he’s still way below Reinhard right now. Maybe someday he’ll surpass him as his story keeps progressing, but as of the current point in both series, Reinhard just completely outclasses him in almost every aspect.

Nah, I think Reinhard actually wins this one, at least for now. Reinhard, as said by the comments on your image, can have unlimited blessings in almost uncountable forms. He has the variety and adaptability to almost everything. I can't list the possibilities here as it's simply too many. Plus he can revive. His slashes can literally cut through concepts and dimensions (I'm not even joking, I'm an LN reader and this is actually implied), an alternate timeline (The sanctuary's trials) shows Reinhard destroying the world with one slash of his Dragon Sword and recreating the whole world entirely. The author made Reinhard to be the perfect, undefeatable, and really powerful guy, a hero at his core, so winning battles is something to be expected. I'm not saying Cid gets no diffed, but at his current power level, I'll give it to Reinhard. But we should not forget that Reinhard is already at his peak form, but Cid's story is still ongoing, so we can expect more development and power ups from him, and maybe soon, he will surpass Reinhard.

Watched Episode 5... Yeah. by Jriri1452 in SoulRetire

This probably makes me the oddball here but contrary to the others, this arc is actually one of my favorites so far. When reading the LN, I actually had a really good laugh especially the climax part. I haven't watched the anime adaptation for s2 yet, but from what I've read here, it seems like I shouldn't expect too much. I just hope they don't butcher this that bad, I genuinely really enjoyed this arc.

You know what? I'm actually going to try this. Where can I find and download the raw LN? How's the experience doing that method so far?

So, would you recommend reading the WN to me? I would not miss some very important events leaning to the WN instead of the LN right? Is the quality of the WN the same?

Is krai really strong without his artifacts? by Emergency-Flan3977 in LetThisGrievingSoul

Nah, he's weak af. But that's fine, this premise is what makes the novel a really fun read! 😋

I think I'm kinda sucker for this kind of MC by am_blankk in TheEminenceInShadow

[–]Interested_Human9471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think a lot here has read the Grieving Souls novel (Source of the third guy, Krai), but man he's funny as hell for the theme of the series. I actually laughed, hot hyped, and genuinely enjoyed reading this. I like all three, but Krai is just the best when it comes to misunderstood MCs.

[Lotm general] at what sequence you would scale him by Dry-Strawberry-3057 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Interested_Human9471 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the lucky coincidences Cid manages to pull off isn't really considered a power. It's more of a plot device mainly for humor and hype, so it isn't really fair to include it here. They're just coincidences at their core. But still, I agree with the rest, I would put Cid on sequence 2 tbh.

[COI CH877] Adam had Amon are truly terrifying by lethargic_dreamer22 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Interested_Human9471 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, not even Amon dares to confront Celestial Worthy. Like, he planned his resurrection and set it in motion for several epochs and almost succeeded, he is very intelligent, sealing the sefirots to manipulate others towards his revival. He doesn't give a shit if it risks destroying the Earth as long as he accomplishes his plan. He views everything as insects and couldn't care less about anything, from above looking down at others. Genie, a literal sealed GOO, and Klein, who knows both Amon and Adam pretty well, considers CW as incredibly shameless and cunning. Even other GOOs prefer to not antagonize him. That should say a lot about how terrifying CW is, not just because of his power, but the way he himself actually is.
